  1. Of course it could be worse, I was once invited to a family members wedding, which turned pout to be a humanist ceremony, followed by a vegan meal for the wedding breakfast. To me a wedding is a family occasion which means the whole family, man wife and kids if any. You either invite us all or non of us arrive and yes I did invite everyone to my own wedding although I wasn't paying.
  2. Cool, already booked time off work so I'll be there.
  3. It is very bad form, Get you Wife to reply stating that as you are not invited she will not be attending either.
  4. I'm lucky with work can swing days off when I really feel like it. So I'll be there.
  5. I had something similar with my Mrs, safety of the children was her main concern. I am lucky we have a normal staircase which leads to the loft. So I was able to fix the cabinet into the loft out of the way, the door to the loft is locked and the key out of reach of the children. I also made sure not to have the guns around the house when the kids were around at first. So cleaning ect was done only once they were in bed. They soon all got use to them in the house and its usual for cartridges to be scattered around after a shoot. I know take the kids to the clay range with me teaching them basic safety along the way.
  6. I have a few different one. A Gear stick lock, a peddle lock and an old steering wheel crook lock.
  7. Not sure about santas little helper. The Lab is more likely to eat the presents than deliver them.
  8. Although not the same thing, my Mrs has just bought our two dogs christmas jumpers
  9. Thanks, I'll keep doing what I am at the moment, the puppy seems happy. We are not doing any serious training, a little walking at heel and a bit off walking off the lead near home as I now its going to be
  10. Diet has been sorted from birth, she is on a good quality dry food with no fillers just meat and veg. She does not jump that much, but stopping her from climbing is almost impossible. Looks like I could walk her a little more as we are out about 40 mins every morning. Although that will be harder on me as it's already silly o'clock when I need to get up to walk her.
  11. My new Lad puppy is 18 weeks old, coming along rather fast with what little training has been done. My question is, just how much exercise should she be getting. I read somewhere about 5 mins per month of age as too much could give them hip problems in latter life, is this correct or could we do a little more. She has so much energy that this little walk is doing very little to tire her out.
  12. Yes it is, they also state they are not sure how to fix the problem but the car is safe to keep driving.
  13. 6.2 430 BHP - HUNTSMAN 105 LONG NOSE, Made by Kahn, hate the extended nose but needed to fit the engine. They do a 4x4 version with the same engine for a bargain price, £99,950, not sure an extra axle is worth £100,000.
  14. Not on the Alltrack but I do own a VW Passatt estate, Mine is on a 14 plate, so just before the recent upgrade, which I do think looks nice. Very nice car to drive, big inside with a large boot, most of the reviews are accurate. They are based on the Skoda Superb and the Audi A6. Almost the same car just a different price. Only issue I have with mine is I am caught with the emission problem,a lready had one letter stating mine will be recalled at some point next year.
  15. Hate cyclists, I could have easily hit a few of them in the last few months around where I live.
  16. There is always the Northern Shooting Show, for those not willing to travel that far south.
  17. That may be true but again there are penalties for doing that speed, when was the last time you ever heard about anyone been pulled for driving 20miles below the speed limit. Both are equally dangerous.in some instances the slower speed is more so.
  18. The number of older people I see on my daily drive to work doing 40 - 45 in the 60 zone is ridiculous, only trumpted by the fact they don't slow for the 30 zone and just carry on at the one same speed.
  19. Yes young people have a lot of crashes I myself was one of them. A lot of elderly people will be okay to drive, I'd rather not get in the car with my farther in law as he really struggles to concentrate for long enough if he is driving on the motorway. I'm not sure what the correct answer is. I had an elderly lady crash into my car while it was parked outside my office, drove along the path and almost hit a could of people. The fact that she could hardly walk was a massive concern to the police when they arrived but apart from report her to the DVLA there was little they could do.
  20. Not sure if this is already on here, Reported in the paper of another crash caused by an elderly driver driving the wrong way on duel carriageway. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3272201/Elderly-woman-dies-car-crash-leaves-driver-injured.html One thing about all these, iv'e never understood how they get on the wrong carriageway in the first place its not all that easy to do. After having a close call myself with an elderly driver a couple of years ago, something needs to change. Yes we have an aging population but it's about time a retest is brought in to stop this happening again.
  21. The Mrs picked some last week, stuck them in the freezer over night and we now have 2 bottles of sloe Gin and one of Sloe Brandy, can't wait till they are ready.
  22. I've just used 4x4Tyres.co.uk Talked to them via an online chat to make sure the wheels and tyres I wanted would fit right. Very helpful and fast delivery.
  23. Quick google brought up this. http://tirereviewteam.com/cooper-discoverer-st-maxx-review/
  24. Agree with you about the Juke, the front lights look awful, although that top picture is going to take some beating
