DEADLY PLUMBER

My flexicoys are nearly 30yrs old and last saturday they did me proud again. I dont think they can be beaten easily. The white bits need a touch up occasionaly. But if you see some on the cheap grab em. You can still buy them at nearly £ 8 but they will last you. They are also very tough.

Keep an eye on what the birds are up to. They will finish the stubbles then the drilled fields. Then on to acorns and berrys. If snow comes early they might then hit the rape. The rape is usualy from Feb onwards. They will form large flocks in the winter. A few decoys or a rotary under an oak tree in the autum can be good. In my area they hammer bird tables in urban areas and they know dam well they are safe. Keep an eye on whats happening and act upon it.
