  1. For quality and longevity Ganton s/vests take some beating. As regards to carrying cartridges, I use a belt pouch(nylon/canvas), in my case. I use one for both clays and pigeon shooting, saves all that bending down/fishing about. Regards remmyman
  2. Hi, Jack Snipe Just remember one thing, don't take all advice as 'gospel'. Regards remmyman
  3. Is a B.a higher than my (A) pass at English Language? Fair play to him, he's obviously worked extremely hard Respect all round. Regards remmyman
  4. To elaborate on my earlier post; the bungee straps that I use are the 'Karibiner' type which are exceptionally strong. I only secure them to the rear poles. I always wear shooting glasses, whether out in the field or on the range. Due to the weight of the karibiners allied to very low tension on the elastic itself, coupled to my use of metal t/pegs, the risk to myself is virtually non-existent. Yes, i will concede that any non-stretch material is the safest option, but as i said earlier this system works for me, never say never, but no near misses(pun intended) after 30 odd years. I've certainly had far more close calls due to getting 'swiped' by branches/thorns whilst building natural hides in the past. Regards remmyman
  5. Personaly, I use long Bungee straps attatched from top of the hide-poles to tent pegs, works for me! Regards remmyman

  12. Agreed, I couldn't even drive for six weeks. The point I was trying to make though is that 'open' surgical techniques have a far longer/complicated recovery time.(at least that's what my surgeon told me) Regards remmyman
  13. I've had Arthroscopic surgery on shoulders and elbows, with more to come in the future. I too, have been impressed with the minimal wound, along with an accelerated recovery time. Hope you're 'back on your feet' soon Regards remmyman
