  1. I did intensive back in the day but growing up on a farm I had quite a bit of driving experience under my belt before hand. It worked for me, I passed first time.
  2. To get into pcp have a look at the Hatsan Galatian, £500 will get you a new rifle and bottle. https://www.sportsmanguncentre.co.uk/hatsan-galatian-iii-carbine-th-syn-blk-22 I've got one, cant fault it.... maybe a bit heavy but thats the only negative I can think of.
  3. 2. CZ 511 I've had one for years and wouldnt be without it. find the ammo it likes and it'll bosh stuff accurately all day long. A mate had a 10/22 untill he shot my 511
  4. Looks like I've found one or more it found me thanks to Mel_B. Thanks for the input guys!
  5. I've found these on gun trader... https://www.guntrader.uk/guns/shotguns/el-chimbo/side-by-side/410-gauge Are they over priced?
  6. Whats the difference between the El Chimbo (spanish I've read?) and the Belgian ones?
  7. Hi Guys Anyone have any experience of these Belgium SxS hammer guns I've seen around? I'm after a double .410 and really like the old style of these guns. Thoughts? Any good or steer clear? Cheers Steve
  8. cheers, just pmed him... I'd like a .410 too so might get a package deal
  9. its good to see pump club still going strong! My firearms cert came up for renewal recently so I got a shotgun cert at the same time, time for me to come back to pump club! I like them old and scruffy, any suggestions? Cheers
  10. damn it! KInda wish I'd got those now, I do like my meindls! The Le Chameaus altho nice dont feel as good as the meindls off the bat, leathers much stiffer and you can feel the toe crease when walking, I hope the bed in ok. So far kinda wish I'd held off the trigger and got the Antartkis... time will tell!
  11. I hope with these boots being new out they would have sorted any cracking issue, I see they only sell the condor boots now, all other walking/hunting boots have gone from their website.... a new era I hope! They are sold as premium performance go anywhere do anything boots with a 2 year warranty, if I have any trouble I'll send them back as not fit for purpose.
  12. Yeah I saw those, nice boots liiked the looks yet feared my feet would melt in anything but sub zero tempts... I suffer from hot feet.... better than cold feet I guess!
  13. Thanks for the the thoughts, I've got a pair of Meindl Bhutan GTX already, they are a fine boot, love them, but looking for a higher boot and not a fan of the Dovre looks (shallow I know). I also looked at the Harkila boots but read that they're not worth the money (the ones I liked were 300 nickers). Anyway, I was perusing the net earlier and stumbled across the Condors with £50 off and before I knew it I'd pressed the buy button... damn that clicky finger! Will report back once I've road tested them.
  14. Hi Guys I've been looking for some higher boots and I like the look the Le Chameau Condor LCX, they were new out this season. https://www.lechameau.com/gb/catalog/product/view/id/5908/s/men-s-condor-lcxr-hunting-boot/category/116/?c=277 I wondered whether anyone had bought a pair and what they thought of them? Cheers Steve
  15. 86 pages! Keep pumping gents!!
  16. I'm confident that the guy who responded to the e-mail to clarify also interpreted the wording, I bet they had no input into writing it originally or the like. You only have to read the GL to see its PREVENTION not PROTECTION, they mean very different things and thus shooting over stubble, roost shooting etc are well within the law. On the side... *** guys stop all the chest puffing egotistical bull, you do youselves no favours bar showing your true colours.
  17. sit on sea type kayaks are very stable considerings their size, theres hordes of them out fishing of a weekend around here. if you do get one try not to get the small boat complex and **** off the boating fraternity, many that go out from here have a right attitude as if they own the sea and forget that if they get into trouble its the very same boatys that are going to be the first on scene to help.
  18. I was expecting a punch in the air and a "yesss!" rather than the girly wincing... best shot of the day surely.
  19. some of my farmers give me cartridges, they're just happy someones giving it to the birds. I sometimes shoot fairly close to villages, houses etc, my opinion is we're in the country, this stuff needs to happen... suck it up!
  20. Never had a problem that wasnt sorted quickly and I have no reservations about buying from china or the like.
  21. and remember... Pump With Pride!
