Big thanks to Armsid for taking me out and putting me right under the birds in Leicestershire. Unfortunately my shooting was patchy but still managed to bag 14 in a couple of hours. Shot over drilled wheat. Rotary decoy machine was putting more off than it was attracting in so turned it off and they committed better. Great afternoon in good company and all thanks to meeting through PW. Hope to return the favour with some lamping soon.

Bettinsoli 12G o/u 30" m/c in good nick. Would like £400 but would take £350 for the right person to get them started in the sport! PM if interest.

Cheers Dave! -
Due to work commitments and a lack of pigeons on my own permissions I am after some guided pigeons shooting around Melton Mowbray (40 mile radius). I have all the gear, guns and ammo I just need to get underneath the blighters! Happy to pay going rate for the right opportunity. Gary

Honestly the website says there is a gunmakers row and 1 bloody stand had a very limited selection of guns, all brand new. I walked around twice thinking I had missed a row.

Just got back from Kelmarsh and in summary it's ok for a day out of the house and if you want to buy clothes or camo. Hopeless for guns and pretty bad for other gear. If you get the chance to get out shooting instead, do that.

For what it's worth I just use a stealth net in front as it gives such brilliant visibility over the decoy pattern and don't have a problem. However to caveat that I use a standard net behind me to break my silhouette and full camo inside and make sure I keep still when a bird approaches. Stealth nets are like most things, use them correctly and they work but wrongly and it's useless.

I would definitely get a spare then you should be good to go for the whole day. Can't expect too much from one 7ah batt, I would have said 3-4 hours is reasonable.

Well I'm going anyway despite the reports on here!

Recommend a seat (Not a bucket)

Cheap alternative - one of those £5 camping chairs. Lightweight and they come in a bag with strap so you can carry on the shoulder. Not great for larger gents but I'm 6 foot average build and it does the job. -
