Looks great marki a little bit light for what im looking for but still an great finish clearly put some time into it. Steve how dark does your kit finish like I said looking for a pretty dark finish

Ive got an old beretta a303 ive been using as a field gun im trying to tidy it up a little bit just wondered whats the best way to go about finishing the woodwork I wanted to stain it in a dark walnut but keep the grain nice and prominent. Any ideas? Cheers in advance Bill

With that budget IMO ID Go with the pulsar DFA 750. £1300 so its well within budget and it mounts onto the objective lense of your scope and has a changable rings so you can swap from rifle to rifle with no need to re zero because your scope would already be set

Tried some grouping tests with all of the bisley range through my FN19 they seemed to be the most inconsistent at about 2.5" group at 30m, all the others went from 1.5" to the inside of a £1pound coin

Afternoon all Just been out for a morning on the clays i shot two rounds and bought my shells there, my first round were with 7.5's and my second I noticed were with 8's both eley Olympics I shot just as well with both sizes and was just wondered if the difference in size really matters that much?

Yeah where im shooting basically there is obviously the field then there is like some longish grass around the edges which leads on to loads of massive trees. I went walking round there yesterday looking for rabbits and got side tracked with this idea, I know there feeding here and I know there sitting in these trees between feeding just wanted to ask for some advice on how to go about it really, any way im gunna keep my eye on the situation as I wont get back out for a week or so and hopefully come back with a good progress report. Yeah that's what I thought like I said I was thinking of a little hide to lie prone under maybe even a ghillie just so I'm as broken up and undetectable as possible

Yeah the plan was to make up a little hide for a prone position in/ under the hedge row a 180 degree field of view decoys out at say 30-40 yards max (only using a falcon FN19 @ 12ft/lb) Sound about right? not really worried about massive bag number as long as I could get enough for dinner and maybe a few in the freezer I'd be well chuffed
