  1. Thanks for the info. Its a 6 trap game trailer so would be £150 each trap. Possibly only adapting 2 or 3.
  2. Hello, I have 6 traps that all throw standard clays. Is their an easy way of converting the carousel tubes to take midi clays? I have contacted Bowman and they say I need midi carousel at £120 + VAT and different knife separators. I am thinking a plastic tube inside the standard clay carousel to hold the midi and pay for the different knife. Has anyone done anything similar? Thanks
  3. An exquisite day, not to be missed. Glad to be involved for the third consecutive season for the back to back date in January! Just a word of warning....don't take the £20 bet!!!!
  4. As above, Wanted Thanks
  5. Its now a secret group by invitation through a current member. PM - Received Thanks
  6. No ear pieces. They cost £75 new for 4, so they're not going to get you to communication from mountain to mountain. Now sold Thanks
  7. 4 x walkie talkies for sale. Not bad little pieces of kit for the money, no longer needed. Bought new last season. Come with chargers and 4 radios. £35 posted.
  8. I visited today and was very impressed. It's not to the scale of the midland game fair but neither are the entry prices... At only £10 for adults. It's only their second year and hopefully, given the turnout today there will be more trade shows and agin makers row. Fantastic day, throughly enjoyed and it's great for Lancashire to have such an event. Well done
  9. Let's hope the weather is kind and the woodcock are in force. See you in December
  10. That's terrible! I hope everyone is on the mend.
  11. Hello all, I am currently advertising mini driven/walked up LET days for a shoot I run in Lancashire. We are on Guns On Pegs, but here is a description. Hello all, Thank you for visiting my pheasant shoot advertisement. The shoot is located in Lancashire, near Bolton. After the success of last seasons mini-driven/walked up syndicate and LET days we have decided to re-offer the opportunity to visit our shoot for a days sport. This season I only have three dates to offer you. Wed 30th Nov 2016 Sat 31st Dec - FULL Mon 2nd Jan 2017 Sat 28th Jan 2017 The day will see 10 guns grace the landscape on a stand one beat one basis. We will be completing around 6 - 8 drives on the day depending on success, so each gun will stand on a peg for at least 3 drives. We will be walking up rough shooting in between some drives over separate areas and in 2 teams of 5/6 guns. The day is structured well and inclusive of your pheasant shooting we provide a hearty breakfast and a wholesome, home made 2 course lunch. We will be aiming for a good day with plenty of shooting. In terms of a bag limit, our syndicate guns will be looking for a 40+ bird day. Depending on your ability to shoot a moving target will dictate the end bag, but you will get plenty opportunity. Last season we put 950 birds down and returned 42%. This coming season we are putting 2000 pheasants down. The price per gun £150.00 with a discretionary beaters tip on the day. Please register your interest asap. Deposits required at the time of booking via Paypal and the remaining balance to be paid on the day Please note, shooting available for singles guns and groups of guns. Please, don't hesitate to contact me for further information.

  15. It's a 60 sq ft kitchen and 15 sq ft hallway and 42 sq ft lounge, plus utility and boot room, all on the ground floor. Given the size, would 5kw suffice if I wanted to heat all downstairs? Thanks for all the input. I will let you know what we go for.
  16. Yes, received today and my wife is just pinging the particulars over via the tinternet. It's just on charge now. Thanks Terry, appreciated :-)
  17. Thanks chaps. I haven't heard of taking the air draw from outside, that is a nifty idea. I read up that the quality cast iron stoves hold a good percentage of chrome in them to help deal with the expansion and contraction of the metal. Has anyone heard of this? Thanks Also- some more recommended brands would be great.
  18. Hello all, I am in the market for a multi fuel wood burner around the 8 KW mark. Having read a little on the internet I am still wondering what burners are the best for value for money. I need a 6m flue too. Looking to spend around the £1k mark for burner and flue if possible, but a little more if needed. Thanks in advance,
