The same thing happened to me. If you read the email they send regarding activation of your account you should see this paragraph - "Before activating your account we would be obliged if you would provide us by replying to this email with a brief description of why you would like to join our community, how you found us and what you might wish to contribute" Do this and They should sort it pretty quick

Haha thanks for the tip! Ill probably end up using the flask to dispense powder into something else, and then into the barrel from there
-
These obviously accompany the muzzle loader I've inherited. The scoop is adjustable, and the powder flask can be adjusted to throw different amounts of powder, pretty cool i thought
-
Not a clue, but if you head over to full-bore.co.uk they have an s class sub forum, might be worth checking out
-
Why? They'll send officers out anyway if they get that call, regardless of if you've phoned ahead or not

I've got a super varmint in .223 - the plastic stock was pretty solid, no flex and the barrel stayed free floating. I've since changed the stock for a GRS stock, but that's just because I can't resist tinkering with things, not due to problems
-
I'd have had the lot if you were up here!

17HMR cracked case comparison
Mutiny replied to spandit's topic in Bullets, Cartridges and Reloading
Personally, I wouldn't fire that one - I'd say Its a prime candidate for getting lodged in your barrel -
How many scoped guns do you think it would comfortably hold?
-
If I can spot you I will!
-
Yes sent them an email and I'm going to tag along on the 27th

Well it's peaked my interest, I'm going to give it a go at the end of the month

17HMR cracked case comparison
Mutiny replied to spandit's topic in Bullets, Cartridges and Reloading
I think mine are related to a batch issue - out of the 900 and something rounds I've had through my rifle those cases are the only ones which have visible issues (which I have noticed), and they were all bought around the same time period -

They may well have done, the cases pictured will be at least 18 months old! -

I believe the round which lodged in the barrel came from a case which had a crack or split before firing, but can't confirm as I didn't check beforehand. I did sort through the rest of the box after problems with the first round, and found 7 or 8 more unfired rounds with cracks/splits in their cases. Remington are the only manufacturer that I personally have had the split case issue with -
I've got an Aim Drag bag and I love it, well made and plenty of padding. Here's a video review I found on YouTube - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9s6y9Jc3v34

Just to update this thread - the gun is off on its hollybobs to be restored, and has been identified as being made by W.R Pape of Newcastle. Totally chuffed it's a local job!
