It didn't bother me really until I came across a picture of another gun which was the exact opposite and it got me thinking...

Picture below. It does look more different in real life: I thought about refinishing it but I have tried this before and found it impossible to get the colour right...

Seems quite common, mine has a darker forend and lighter stock, anyone out there have the opposite and want to swap forends/stocks?

I have been looking at the custom moulded in-ear type of protection. They all seem to contain either metal-looking sonic valves or red-plastic hocks filters. Anyone know which one is better and blocking out the bangs? They both seem similar and they might be as good as each other, but I need a reason to choose one over the other...

I coud hear shooting near my office in Surrey Research Park today, late morning. Its just on the west of Guildford town and just north of the A3. There are a few farms there but it sounded like more than just a few pigeons, I suspect a pheasant drive maybe? Would be great to find out what it was as its obviously a convenient location for me! Have seen huge flocks of pigeons in the fields around my area at the moment, I am contacting local farmers but in the meantime is there anyone that can help me get out there shooting?

Anyone know where I can try some pigeon shooting on a weekday the second half of this month, happy to contribute/pay as I have no decoys/hide/etc...

After deciding to switch to 24g shells for sporting clays (7.5 fibre), I discovered they cost more than 28g, the 21g ones are maybe slightly cheaper, but 24g are more expensive. Does anyone know of a budget 24g shell that I can get hold of down in the South (Near A3)?

I discovered at the weekend that when throwing snowballs at my wife and kids, I was subconciously applying the exact amount of lead almost every time. If only I could do that when shooting clays.
