I am after very cheap tatty shotguns in the kent area please. I have an oldish beretta s686 special that has quite a few little dings and scratches in and have got hold of a birchwood casey tru oil kit. However I dont want this to be the first shotgun I try to refinish the stock on so I want to try out on some tatty shotties with little or no value. So if you are in the kent area and have a shotgun (in working order) that fits the bill then let me know. All the best steve

Take the stock off, remove the finish, sand and tru oil. In the process of doing a parker hale deluxe and it took one evening of prep and im now in the process of applying the true oil. The kit comes with walnut stain so you can get a lovely deep dark finish before oiling. I am very happy I started mine as it is starting to look great after two coats. JJK shooting supplies are the ones who sold me the kit and its only about 15 quid. Going to do my beretta s686 soon and get the perma blue kit as well to bring it back into shape.

Hi all I am selling my 12 g AYA No 4 which is in fantastic condition. Excellent blueing and general condition. Unfortunately it had an accident last year where it fell outof the cabinet and snapped across the throat of the stock. I have pics which you can request via pm with your e mail address. These go for around the 400 mark generally. I have been told by chris Orasinski in Folkestone that it could be fixed no problem but he is no longer doing repair work. Prefer face to face and can travel within reason. Rfd at buyers cost. I am asking a mere 200 pounds. A very cheap gun you can repair it yourself. Open to offers

privi cases are absolutely fine. My reloads shot a 3 round group in .308 and all 3 can be covered by a 5p piece. This was '100m off a bench at bisley on sunday

Price drop to 1200 pounds. I shot this rifle at bisley yesterday and managed a sub 1/2 "group off the bench @ 100m. A very accurate rifle indeed . I still have the target and can do pictures on request/

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Right I never thought I would be saying this but the time has come to sell my beloved Remington 700 sps as unfortunately I need to release some cash. The full set up is as follows Remington 700 sps DM (detachable magazine 4 Round) in .308 cal. Fired approximately 3 - 400 rds of home loaded (light loads) ammo. Shoots 1 MOA so I stopped load development. It is blued and threaded 1/2 inch UNF with thread protector included. The rifle has been free floated and now sits in the excellent Hogue FULL length aluminium bedded stock which I purchased 2 yrs ago for £200 from South Yorkshire shooting supplies (not to be confused with the inferior pillar bedded version). This rifle was PROPERLY shot in with a shoot one then clean for 5 rds then shoot 3 and clean for 5 groups and then shoot 5 etc etc The rifle is now 649 from sportsmans and the stocks are £200. The rifle also has a predator 8 sound moderator in excellent condition fitted to it (these are currently about 215 and is as I say in excellent condition. Sitting on top of the rifle are Leupold bases and rings bought new by me for 95 pounds. The scope s a leupold VX III 4.5 - 14 x 50 (1 inch tube)complete with varmint hunters reticle again in excellent condition (currently £664.12 from sportsmans) I have the original boxes for the rifle/scope and hogue stock and the paperwork for the scope which comes with a lifetime guarantee and is excellent in all regards. All in all this set up would cost over 1800 new I can also supply load data for 165 gn hornady soft point rounds which I have used to great effect on deer. If face to face then some home loads can be available at the cost price (about 55p a round - 100 availabe). I also have a number of target rounds available (norma cased 168 grn smk's) and I have shot 1.5 " at 200 metres with these rounds) I am looking to sell this rifle combination for 1300 pounds which is a saving of 500 off the new price. Any inspection welcome. I will be at Bisley on Sunday shooting this rifle with the bbs club. I would prefer face to face in kent. I am willing to travel within reason to meet up otherwise I can do rfd transfer at buyers costs. Photos will be available later today on request on this thread or by PM. Hi all A bit of a strange request. A couple of years ago I upgraded my remmy 700 stock for a hogue unit and gave the old stock away. I am looking at putting the rifle back as it was originally. I know many people replace their stocks and know they sit collecting dust. It is a .308 with a slim/sporter profile barrel. It is also the detachable mag version. Anyone got one they dont need and would be prepared to send. I will of course cover post. All the best Steve
