cheers for all the replies so far. The only thing i cant make my mind up on is the inertia or gas operated. The thing i like about the M2 is the ease of cleaning however i hear that the A300 has a upgraded gas valve which self cleans the piston and that?. is this true and does it work well?. cheers pete

Looking for pigeon shooting in Norfolk
NorfolkAYA replied to Marrochi93's topic in Shooting/Ferreting/Beating Wanted
Where abouts in Norfolk are you mate? -
Hi mate. A trap gun has a higher rib so you can see more of the clay (so you always aim below the target). The choked will be either 3/4 full or both full. I have a trap gun and I love it. I use it for skeet, sporting and abt. Also I use it on the pigeons and rabbits. I shoot well with it. I like having a higher rib. I think mines an 11mm rib. Also a trap gun is normally slightly heavier than a sporter. Also if you open the chokes it will take away the purpose of a trap gun...if you want more open chokes I would buy a sporter mate. Regards Pete
