  1. http://www.euintheus.org/who-we-are/how-the-eu-works/ Like many others, we have left you boys to play with your tinfoil hats ( wouldn't want us 'Remainers' reading your thoughts now would we) Democracy is in place - 28 Nations of which we HAVE elected our representatives, all hold Council. If a recommendation is made then it's voted on- believe that's a Democratic process, or do you believe the other 27 gang up on us against everything? Now, even though a law can be recommended, there are still powers to veto it... Corruption? Hmmmm, let's look closer to home? Expenses scandals etc- everyone everywhere is to some extent guilty of something? If you can honestly look in the mirror and say you don't then please go to www.imasaint.vatican.it That's EU 101 in its most simplified form, complexities of the system is too great for my little brain- just like our very own British laws. Please take the above in jest, it's just a forum boys n girls
  2. Ben You actually dont have to travel too far in order to experience handguns From France,Germany, Czech etc all offer the ability to shoot them.
  3. I would use an IR lamp such as available from Machine Mart. Then a simple timer and your sorted- instant heat
  4. Fruity That's my plan tomorrow.... See what can be done?
  5. Tightchoke Yep, if you type it in you get loads of links to what amounts to nothing!!!!! I tried various ones and they state save this amount etc but when you click on them they dont have any codes? Dave wh100 I would and did think of that but Im after an IOR scope and cant seem to find any other stockists?
  6. Just being a bit cheeky and seeing if anyone has any voucher codes for Opticswarehouse. Due to purchase a new scope and see there is a box on checkout that allows the input of a voucher code, be nice to save at least something? Thank you one and all
  7. By the very nature of the original vents being subject to the Venturi effect to draw out air at speed and the new ( look closely and see the louvres are of differing heights) using ram air, therefore, they work in two opposing ways. One drawing air out and one forcing cooler ( bound to be in this wet n cold climate) you can form your own opinion as to which is the better. Me? I'm going for the new ones, after all- I've never for instance seen a car radiator fan 'suck' the warm air away from the core.....

    Common sense

GordonR We don't always see 'eye to eye' but your post is on the money. Seems too many incidences of stupidity that people then expect the 'State' to pick up the pieces. Same with the RyanAir situation- some claiming their lives are ruined, of course it's an inconvenience that some people are stranded- however, if the procedure for claiming is followed correctly then you should not be out of pocket. There is even legislation in place to protect an Employee from being penalised in not being able to be back at their place of work.
  9. Am really drooling over this. Can't wait until our house situation is sorted and we can proceed to a purchase of one.
  10. Just like anyone with a Satellite dish in Europe can. BBC etc is broadcast in the clear so although a TV licence is required in the UK, it's in-enforceable elsewhere. Only encryption can stop viewing, a broadcast signal is generally 'omni-directional' and so you can just say "don't point it there" But, what is the intention of the original question? Those in the North probably pick up RTE etc and I'm sure they don't go " oops, I must pay a licence fee to the south"
  11. I should have been- didn't get in till late last night then five hours later had me walking through the city to the station Know it's not exactly Waterloo at that time but there are a couple of departures around 5.30, but you can't get a cuppa or something to read as Smiths doesn't open until 5.3 grrrr
  12. Ditchy If you are/were that bored you could have brought me a cuppa and breakfast as I passed through Cantley station at 05.50 this morning on the way to collect my car that got stuck and in Suffolk

    Tesla

Amazing machine, often see them on my travels in Norway Tesla is the official Airport cars too in Amsterdam For fun I just spec'd my ideal model in black with the black 22" rims and all options in the performance edition..... wow, a seriously quick machine Would spec the six seat option but remove the middle two in order to keep the kids far away from me as at the moment you never know if one min they are trying to tickle you and the next a chunk of Lego is being whacked around your head. Enjoy your purchase
  14. Jeez mungler I've just been transported back to 1986
  15. Blinking heck- I can see this thread running on and on like the last one :-) Next you will be wanting some of my photo storage space............
  16. He was right- they are matched-- matched in calibre, that's all :-) Neck sizing only I buy singularly, but when I buy a seating and full length they come in the box together- just the way it is and I'm sure they don't ' match/grade' them
  17. Figgy Ours is the same engine, but not supercharged. They do have some 'go' in them don't they- know how ours is, yet alone the twin engined supercharged version. Really not sure what to get/ for the Broads it really only needs to be a little day boat- but maybe I will just use the money on a new Enduro bike or rifle?
  18. Thanks to Mr Spandit for arranging something soon... Mr Figgy, it's a Seadoo Speedster 4-TEC four seat boat- indeed powered by a 155hp Rotax jet ski engine/drive And boy do they have some get up n go, magazine tested at 51mph. Once the bumpers are printed and have had one seat base re-upholstered ( was in direct sunlight and it caused the vinyl to crack in one small place, but as I knew it was there it had to be tended to) we plan to try it out on the Broads /coastal, but have a feeling it's going up for sale at a bargain price as I have my eye on something else.....
  19. Can't of course post a pic on here, could you pm an email I could send to? Cheers
  20. That screwdriver was probably used in some violent crime- quick, rub your prints off and dispose
  21. Sorry Martin I actually couldn't/can't remember the exact details? Know we were all pestering you at the time to donate something towards it. So, please accept my apologies. But, to the task in hand - they need to be black, there are currently three of the ******* on the boat at the moment and they don't seem to serve any real purpose except maybe if your transporting water skis on the back? So, black and go on a boat- as to the specific type of material I don't know. How much for three - you would need an original to scan in or however it's done and that's no problem, they are drilled, once again no problem as I can at least do that! Now after them and a new air vent that's on its way only leaves me to get a crack in the seat sorted out- try and find a trimmer in Norwich area next week ( could get away without doing it but to me it's not right) ( will in future need a paint sprayer too for the rear deck lid that has some sun induced crazing) Thank you to you and Mick
  22. Brill Will pm them And now you have jogged my memory I do believe I have very small percentage stake in LG's printer
  23. Can't for the life of me remember who on here can replicate plastic parts Rang Seadoo yesterday for 3 hard plastic 'bumpers' and the reply made me think again. They are literally 3.5cm by 1cm by 1.5 lozenge shape but slightly tapered from bottom to top. Any idea please ( would need to be black btw)
  24. I had a VF500 f11 Hankered after one as a customer had one and I thought in Rothmans colours that it was the dogs..... Day after my test I purchased a A reg job, motad nets or something were the OE look exhaust or something like that ( well it was 1988). Went everywhere on it but was always having problems with fuel evaporation/starvation with it being a sod to start when hot. Eventually booked it into CJ Ball where they found a typical of the era valve problem. Replaced them myself and then it just sat in the coal shed until 1990 when I brought the first ZZR600 that Tinklers had in- now that was good and wouldn't mind one again for some nostalgia. Had Kwaks ever since ( ok, that's a little lie as I had two variants of VFR400's and a CBR400 too) Enjoy it when it's done- personally I prefer the wine red of the original
