We turned up a little later than I would have liked 9 o'clock but there was at least 500 birds trying to get to the rape we walked them off set up the decoys and the rotary but they just would'nt come in we shot 9 in the end . We went to a wood across the field and did a bit of roost shooting and shot another 12 . The numbers are going up so I was pleased with the bag

We didn't go roost shooting in the end because I forgot about the 2 days for the beaters roll on when I do start tho

It's our last shoot tomorrow and after that let the roost shooting begin me and the game keeper have been doing some recon and there are about 700-1000 birds using the wood I reckon there's going to b some quality days to come

I say for ur hide u should just use a white bedding sheet it works well

Me and a friend have been shooting on my permission for over a year or so we have done such a good job that he has put the word about and I've been contacted by another farmer that needs some help controlling the pigeons and corvid's . I am going to do a bit of recon on sat nobody shoots the land so hopefully we will get on we'll there fingers crossed

Take a mate along and get 2 set ups going in 2 different fields that might get them moving about abit more hopefully Gd luck anyway mate

Thanks for all the message's I hope my luck change's soon . I've been getting up at 5.30 in the morn so we get to the fields before it start's getting light so they ain't even wanting to come in on for early feeding :(

Hi all I have been going out trying to get a decent bag for the last 5 weeks but I'm struggling I've got the decoys , rotary and that but the birds just ain't interested . I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips or ideas to help me out . Many thanks
