  1. If Dianne Abbot counts the votes and Labour do manage to get in, there will be many more, much larger problems to worry about that this. Examples being an awful grasp on economics by the whole party and even worse policies affecting the economy. And a simply DIRE plan for defence and the MOD. Whilst I agree they could pose a big threat to our sport, it is a very minor problem in the grand scheme.
  2. All of my kit, bar the gun is carried in a long back military bergan. This kit includes two camo nets big enough for a 4 sided hide; 4 poles for the hide; a seat; 24 shell decoys an their sticks; all of my pegs, ropes, bungees and clips I use to make a hide; saw; knife; waterproofs; food and most importantly AMMO! (no less than 100 rounds) This makes everything very easy to carry and use should I have to walk any distance to my planned shooting position.
  3. Using my cutting edge detective skills, and a basic understanding of the site, I can reveal that the OP has not been active since 28th of Jan 2016, subsequently I doubt you will be successful. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I await my offer from Scotland yard...
  4. I have used his 6's and 7.5's on both game and clays, using a full range between cylinder and extra full Briley chokes. Can't say I've ever had a problem with the cartridge or the pattern it produces. I am waiting on another delivery from George early next week.
  5. Looking for a cheap set of furniture for a Beretta 682 X. Ideally a Monte-Carlo stock with the raised comb, not bothered about what style of fore-end as long as its for the correct gun. I'm not too fussed about condition as long as it is safe. Thanks
  6. Brilliant day, all for a good cause, even if 't' northerners did take the win. Can I propose that whoever takes the gun from the raffle from now on must shoot that at next years shoot?
  7. Pretty much as it says, after a second set of woodwork if there are any out there, I struggle to find anyone with the same gun let alone a spare set of woodwork!
  8. Is this the theory that when practicing clays, if you shoot a full choke, when competing or out shooting pigeons, you shoot half or 3/4 you will hit more? Why would this be considered, if you want to shoot say 3/4 and full and everything while hunting and competing, then do so and shoot this set up at everything. If you shoot competitively and change chokes for different targets, then do so accordingly. I can't see the point in trying this and I would be very surprised if there was any correlation between this and higher scores!
  9. Hello all, I was wondering if anyone knew of any small comps, such as charity shoots for hunts around the Cambs area (Stamford) this year. I already know of the Belvior Hunt shoot but was wondering if there are any others and the dates? Thanks NB
  10. Simon Well done, Johnathan is a nice chap.
