My Dark Storm had pellets sticking out the case, so when in haste of reloading on the drive it was stuck and a pain to get out out.

I had the same with gamebore Dark Storm, bit annoying when on a great drive on a game shoot and messing around to see why the cart is stuck!!

We had a batch of them on our shoot last season, we had a deal between us guns that if we shot one we would put a set amount of cash in the pot, for a charity that a friend runs. Raised some cash for a good cause and added a bit extra to the shoot.

We had a great time on Saturday!! Going to do two days at Leeds next year!!

Is it me or do most grounds presume you have a 4 x 4? There are never many with a decent driveway for 'normal' cars!! Light hearted rant over!! Best driveway yet however, has to be Borders Wood!!

Good Luck Tommo, I had had some lesson on clays at a local ground and that seemed to make the FEO happy, prob covered the safety aspect? My FEO was a great bloke ex=police officer who actually enjoyed talking about himself lol. Get the kettle on and relax, you have got through the checks so far, so just take down the picture of the prime minister with the crosshairs scratched on and youll be fine.

Looking to join a local game shoot for 2014 season, around Leicestershire. Willing to attend working parties etc and not a bad shot also.

I was rude to some generic religion crew who turned up on my door step, at the time i had just nodded off after driving from leicester to Glasgow and back in one go for work. I bear this in mind when door knocking, sometimes its not the land owner being rude its just I turned up at a wrong moment.

I work in a school and wondered how I could introduce shooting to it, how did you go about it if you dont mind me asking?

I use the Proshock Hocks filter in ear protectors and have made a massive difference to my shooting experience. I had electronic over ear defenders and they irritated me, when had a cap and glasses on. I also caught my stock on them sometimes, which was more my fault than the ear defenders. I was dubious at first as you have to have moulds made from your ear, but they work brill, can hear people talking and they block out the gunshots. I would recommend this brand, service was superb and the product also.

We had a great day saturday, didnt expect to be there for eight hours, time flew by and so did thee cash reserves lol!! I thought the layout was a bit odd at first but then noticed it spread people out abit. Wasnt impressed by the food outlets compared to CLA which had some great food places. Got the items we all wanted, its nice to be able pick up and look at things rather than looking at web pages!! This is one reason we go to the shows, so you can see the things you think look good on the net, try them on and then decide. I dont expect stuff to be dirt cheap as it cost the stand owners alot to be there, but we still did well for bargains. Got a pair of Aigle parcours 2 ISO, wore them all day and were more comfy than my boots, bargain!! Did see plenty of the folk of the traveling variety, but no trouble and weather was ok saturday. Will def go again.

I came 19th in the mens, my sis-in law first in the womens, She saw the list when she picked up the prizes and the auto she won in the raffle (lucky moo)

+1 for kaspersky, picks up loads that the free ones miss and also many other brands i.e Symantec/norton. has good rootkit protection also. As with all antivirus they need tweaking so they dont scan too many things they dont need too.
