Used to be 2 hours to the wash for me Moved up here in September now it's ten minutes to the marsh or twenty minutes to the Nene washes

I moved to Lincolnshire in September Had my visit from G4S in October and after 3 chase phone calls I still haven't got my SGC back ! -
I shot the Nene near Peterborough this morning and that tide came in at a serious rate of knots ! Put the dog in for a duck and he got out about 60 yards upstream

Right then children I have shot the Ouse washes today I was about a mile downstream from Earith and my wash varied from 18 inches deep in places to dry in others There were very few shots from the Earith wash itself but there was a bit of shooting further downstream until the fog cleared then all activity dried up The water is now dropping quite quickly

A lad I know had his dog halfway out to a teal when it was slurped up Must admit I've been staying away from the big creeks on a tide

Never saw one come up with the tide on the creek I was on tonight,but there have been a lot of them about Dont like the dog going in when they're about to be honest

Funny you should say about cutting one open A mate cut open a 12 bore BB 42 gramme mammoth yesterday The shot in that was 4.3mm aswell and it had 44.5 gramme in it And 35 grain of 381

Driving home last night the moon and cloud combination looked absolutely spot on Anybody get out and have any success ? I'm still to shoot my first Pink under the moon but hoping I will be in a better position to achieve this when I move up to Lincolnshire next week
