  1. Kicking myself. Right on my doorstep and sold out. 50 places seems so few considering the size of shooting community here. I could name 50 people who are likely to want to be there and I dont know but a fraction! Oh well snooze and you loose!!
  2. Ah well Jason is a good bloke and you David, if you are who I guess you are, are an engineer so knows what to do with a die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Young hares eat well cooked however you fancy. Older hares have a stronger flavour, if that is too much for you or you want to make them more tender a good marinade in beer or even better cyder overnight tames them down. Even young hares are better cooked in booze I think. I only eat pheasant as fresh as chicken though, bit of a lightweight What you shoot and when you shoot it tends to be at the behest of the landowner
  4. You must consider all four axle weights, laden weight of trailer, train weight of all. If the train weight of the towing vehicle is not shown on a plate the weight of the towing vehicle must clearly be enough, in comparison to the the trailer and load, so that the tail does not wag the dog due to weight alone.
  5. I am an ex Suffolk bobby and can see no reason for you not to complain. It all depends on how you put it. Surely if there was good reason for such a protracted amount of time for your variation, you are at least entitled to be kept informed
