Hiya guys after a little help please,, I have a Swarovski habitch 6x56 fixed mag scope on top of my howa 223 and I’m having trouble with my adjustments I was out yesterday and had my zero at 80yards but recently been shoot much further so decided to re zero it at 100yards,,I was around 4” high at 100yards so when I tried to adjust the height down 4” it wouldn’t happen I tried all sorts but it was just set at what it was,, any help would be greatly appreciated thanks??

For me it’s would be DAYSTATE,, all the way I no you haven’t mentioned them but the overall quality,,and build is amazing I’ve had airarms as well,, and don’t get me wrong they are a fantastic rifle,, but I like daystates,, I have the huntsman classic 177 and the MK4 is thumb hole both with hawke sidewinders sat on top,, there’s loads of choice out there just make sure take your time and decide on the 1 you really like not what u think looks the best,,let the gun fit u!! Not you fit the gun??Good luck in the decision ??

Went out last night for a few hours to have a go at a few crows that have taken a few new born lambs recently managed 9 would av been more but got ripped into helping the farmer with a few newborns in the lambing shed for 2 hours,,, but of a change but enjoyed it??

Just took delivery of a set of these,, never used them before so hope they are as good as people are saying they are,,I thought I’d treat myself to them after years of useing my home made B&Q set,, they served me well but I thought it was time for a change ??Anybody else use these???

My Swarovski is the habicht 8x50 so I'll see how it goes,, iv got that mounted on my Howa 1500 ,, 223

Brilliant fellas thanks for all the feedback,, iv got 5 different rifles all with different scopes on,,hawke sidewinder to Swarovski so are all pretty good clear scopes,,but thanks again for the info??

What close up distance was you shooting the rats at mate??

I'm going to be doing a lot of rattin in the coming weeks so need advise on the nitesite wolf or eagle a close ranges 10-30 yards! Anybody who's had any experience with either I would greatly appreciate your feed back, thanks phil?

Sorry GG as I'd shot it the farmer came straight over on the quad to ask me could I remember which lamb it was, then compleatly forgot to take any pic after,, but I took the shot about 70-80 yards there or there abouts.

I'm going to buy either a nitesite wolf or eagle,, my question is do I need to buy anything extra,, as in a torch ?? Or just buy the nitesite and crack on??? Thanks guys

Went out last night over 1 of my permission, got a call to say he's having problems with rats, managed 41 and all were adult no sign of young,, then this had a go at me chicken tikka slices ? Didn't get em tho...19" nose to tail?

Right.... Iv just sold my archer NV and want a new 1,,, I like the nitesite kits but not sure what type? I want it for all ranges! From 10yards (rats) out to 250 yards (fox) , so just wondering what your thoughts are on either unit? And what would be best, I can get the wolf for £550 and the eagle for £670 through a friend in a certain gun shop. Thanks.

Hiya dougy I'm gutted now as I'm working this Saturday ? As I would of 100% had a drive down..to try and sort the issue,,making it more aggravating that you have plenty experience with the archer,, I haven't had it long so not fully upto speed with it. Hiya guys I posted a few weeks ago about my archer NV not shooting right on my air rifle.. Well after your replies, I sorted the parallax out and found at 10-15 yards it was shooting 1"low and at 20-25 yards was shooting 0.5" low,,, but when removed its shooting bang on out to 35yards??? Any ideas??

My scope is the hawke sidewinder 30 with the side parallax mate

My zero is spot on,, how do I sort the parallax tho???

Daystate mk4 is in 177

ago Hiya guys been out tonight doing abit of ratting!! Zeroed in yesterday after I got home from work,my NV is the archer that fits directly onto the back of any scope,,so no need to adjust my zero!! Well tonight I couldn't hit a rat for toffee?,,and can understand why all my shots were taken around 15 to 35 yards but I didn't hit a single rat and believe me after 24 shots I'd had enough! Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated ??

Oooooo u don't need to worry boys,,, it was certainly the last thing he got his teeth into,,, as shortly after a rather large ooooiiiiiiii,, he paused for a moment,, the lamb ran off,,,, and my 55gr vmax slammed home...good night charlie?.
