Thought u guys might like this 1,,,I was in my mates back yard and saw it swoop down into the ally behind,, on opening the gate there he was no more than 3/4 ft away just looking at me,, wasn't bothered in the slightest.

Just want to say the conditions were perfect,, and I felt confident in the shot to be taken,, if there was any slight doubt in my mind there is no way I'd of took the shot,, I practice a hell of a lot with my hmr so obviously it helps,, but when I shoot I shoot within my limits that I am confident at!. Just a few weeks ago I got a fox at bang on 401 yards with my Howa 1500 in 223 and yet again the conditions were spot on.

If it's any good,, iv had a look through it and can clearly see around 250/300 yards with just the NV but when u turn the firefly on it makes thing a hell of a lot brighter,, picture isn't the best as ov had to take if off my phone useing my iPad, but that fence in the background is 184yards away.

I can't seem to get in touch with starlight at the minute I'll keep trying, the beyonet is already on it mate,, he didn't buy any other for the simple reason he had 3 other rifles all with different size scopes,, so all he did was cut a piece of 40mm waste pipe to size then cut 1 side so he could fit it over his scopes then all he did was wrap black insulation tape around the waste pipe till the NV fitted nice and snug..so it cost him about £3/4 instead of about £180 for the 3 different size beyonet fittings he'd off needed.

Hiya guys I'm selling my archer night vision add on its fitted with the fire fly, in emaculate condition complete with carry case,, all is in full working order no marks no scratches,, I was given this as a gift from my grandad who has now let his FAC expire due to his age,I'm selling it due to already having the nitesite wolf and a fixed photon on my 223,, iv had a look at them new there £1740 so I have asked about at mcavoys in Wigan and they recommend £1100,, so I'm askin £1000.

Hiya guys.. Bit of advice please,, I get the keys for my new house on Thursday and was wondering,after I informed GMP and sent off my certificates,, can I move and fix my cabinet in my new house or do I have to wait till my certificates come back?

Hiya guys very happy is not the word😁😁,,,, I have been given a new archer night vision unit that attaches to the rear of my scope,, I love it.. Haven't been out with it yet tho, just been getting it to fit nicely on my hmr and .223,had a good mooch with it at night in the garden and scanning the fields while out in the car,, the quality its bang on, I'd say out to a good 500/600 yards,, so my question is have any of you guys got 1 or used 1 and what are your views.. I have a Swarovski habicht 8x50 that I have just put onto my .223. I went out Wednesday after work to get it zeroed in,, got it on the board at 75 yds was about 3" low of my marker,, dialled up the turrets but my bullets kept goin in the same hole as before I'd adjusted.. I tried a few more times but still would not move up ,has anybody any idea what is happening I no the Swarovski is in cm clicks not the usual 1/4. Thanks in advance Phil.

Hiya guys I have recently been given an archer night vision scope from starlight night vision,, brilliant little bit off kit,, it's an over scope fit, but the attachment to fit over my scope/s is to big,,does anybody have any expo with how to make them fit to my scopes Iv tried alsorts it's doin my head in. Thanks for any help.

Hiya guys Iv got for sale a mint condition hawke endurance 30 2.5-10x50-ir, fully boxed, instructions, cleaning cloth, metal flip up covers all compleatley with instructions,,Iv had this around 4 months mounted on top of my .223 and have been out 4 times with it,, it cost me £307,,, I'm looking for £180. Hiya mate just bought 1 myself from mcavoy guns in Wigan,, I got it as a package,, gun,choice of scope,mod,bi-pod, mag and hard gun case,, I went for the heavy varmint barrel 1-12 and iv got the 55g hornady v-max,, I have opted to swap the mod for the wildcat 8 like u that wasn't part of the package but Tim (the owner ) had no problem £925 for the lot mate,, if you haven't already bought it it may be an idea to nip up the M6 or give them a call 01257 426129 , for a few extra pounds u get a lot more than just the mod and gun..

Hiya guys very pleased with myself today,, purchased myself a new Howa 1500,, 223 in heavy varmint barrel, black synthetic stock, wildcat 8 mod,,ect,, got it as a package from McCoy guns in Wigan,,can't wait to get out with it and stick a few rounds through her.! Must say decent price aswel👍.iv also gone for the hornady 55g v-max. I'm goin to get it zeroed at 1" high at 100yards which seems to be the nor from you guys on here. Thanks Phil,

I'll be shooting 55gr v-max,,, think I'll go for the 100yd zero as I don't think I'll shoot past 250yds, thanks for the replies fellas.

Hiya chaps,, recently got my FAC back with my new 223 slot,, had a Good look round and I'm goin for the Howa 1500 varmint, synthetic. What zero would u guys suggest I go for!, for as flat shooting as poss,, maximum fox range being 250 yards is???

Hiya fellas, I recently posted about 3 weeks ago regarding my FAC variation and open ticket grant that was at week 16 or so of GMP having it,, I emailed them 5 weeks ago to which they replied last Thursday to tell me I'll just have to wait,,,,, anyway mr postman dropped it through the letterbox yesterday morning for me all complete and everything I'd asked for was granted,,, not before time tho it had been 19weeks they'd had it on the Friday 4th November.

Hiya guys,, sent in my FAC for variation and grant of open/restricted ticket,,,,,,,,,17 WEEKS AGO TODAY😡,,,a lady rang me a week after I'd sent it to ask a few questions etc,, and said it will be about 10-12 weeks turn around👍 ,, week 14 I rang them,, my FEO was out the office but took my name and said I'll check it and get back to you, that was the Monday,, Thursday arrived and still not heard anything,, so I emailed them,,, 1 week later still nothing in reply!!! Managed to get another number,, so rang again, I explained I understand ur busy but a few things.. I have now ran out of ammo for my HMR as I could only hold 200 rounds,, now can't buy any as I have no licence,,I'm getting phone calls from farmers asking me to sort out a few foxs ect but I'm having to explain the situation,, but at the back of my mind worrying I could lose my permissions.,,, going back to the lady at GMP,, she said you'll just have to wait! What do you guys think,, anybody else in the same situation. Thanks,, phil

Hiya guys recently iv acquired a new permission in Wigan were I live,, 90acres,, it is passed for any 22CF,, at the minute I only have 17hmr that I use on another permission. I have sent off my licence to apply for open ticket and to acquire a 223CF,, would I be able to use my hmr at my new permission as it is passed for CF,, and have written permission for authority to shoot over it? How would I go about it?? Thanks.

Hiya mate thanks for that,, that's helped me loads,, yeah on my licence I have a slot for 22rf but haven't bought one as I use my hmr,, but now want to get a 223 instead of the 22rf due to lamp shy foxs on my current permission and Iv aquired a new permission that got plenty fox on it but is also passed for any 22CF.
