  1. Hi guys I currently own an SKB 200E side by side single trigger that I bought a few years ago like the one seen in the picture below. My question is that is it possible to take the black finish off the reciever and have it as a silver coloured action and if so how is it done? I love the gun to bits and shoot very well (for me!) with it but not a huge fan of the black action. Thanks in advance
  2. Strongly recommend Bettinsoli, cracking guns and built like tanks!
  3. I've just bought an SKB 200E in mint condition for £500 and I love it, single selective trigger, 28 inch barrels and light as a feather! Had a round of sporting and didn't effect my scores at all, 44 out of 50; I'm not complaining! Ready for the season now!
  4. Brilliant and well built guns in my opinion. They handle pretty well and do the job and at the end of the day you're not hugely fussed if you pick up a few scratches on the woodwork or barrel. I've had mine since 2011 and paid £795 brand new and I know the prices have risen since then but you would easily pick one up for your budget. I've not had a single with problem with mine since I bought it and really do highly recommend them as for the money it's just faultless! My advice would be to try some guns out before you buy them if possible, get a feel for shooting them before making you're final decision.
  5. Thankyou for the offer Tis1979 but I'd much rather buy one from my gunshop where I could get some warranty on it, what do you think to it though? I know AYA are quality guns but I've never handled a number 4 before, just a number 2 which my grandad owns.
  6. I will do, can't look at something on a computer screen and decide to buy it I'm the sort of person who needs to pick it up and have a go aha! They look beautiful guns for the money, just want to find out opinions on them before I go looking next weekend.
  7. Hey guys, so I've eart some money over the summer holidays and have a buget of around £650 and would like to buy a nice side by side for the upcoming game season. I've browsed the net and have seen the AYA number 4 is in the price range and looks decent. Anyway I'm going to my local gun shop next week to have a look at what they have in but just wanted to see peoples opinion on them. Help would be very much appreciated.
  8. Hi there, I went to use my stoeger X20s the other day and when I broke the barrel, it dropped down like it would if it was cocked; I took a closer look and have realised the mainspring has snapped into 3 parts. My question is does anyone know what mainspring I need for it? All of the pistons and seals are fine so I don't need a kit, just a mainspring. A link would be very useful. Many thanks, George.
  9. My first gun was my dads first gun, first shot it at 13 A single barrel savage 12 bore with a 34 inch barrel, what a gun for hare shooting, take them out at 60 yards stone dead.
  10. I would get a firearms cert but im only 16 and my dad only has a shotgun licence and says its too much hastle to get one
  11. I picked up a remington 1100 trap for £320 in perfect condition- beautiful woodwork with no marks or scratchs, no rust at all and also a kick-eez recoil pad, mine has a 28inch full choke barrel and is perfect on the pigeons out to 60yards, i strongly recomend the gun apart from the weight can be heavy compared to many modern semi's but for the money, thats the last thing to worry about
  12. Hello, i'm looking for a pcp (sub 12fp) air rifle to lamp rabbits with, I have around 800 to spend and i just want to know what the best air rifle and scope combination would be for bunnies out to 35-40 meters?
  13. Very good guns and amazing for the price, I prefer mine over my Browning! Brilliant reliable guns, very well made and shoot like a dream!
  14. Thankyou so much for this! I will have to ask and have a look at what they have, cheers mate!
