  4. I take it that as you are so ashamed of YOUR (not mine sunshine we did OK by our subjects)past you will clear off out, and enter some sort of servitude to repay your debt then, try Ryanair I prefare them to (anything but) Easyjet KW

  9. If the govt really want to make a difference, they should address the little fact that child poverty has risen for the first time in a decade, oops sorry they are going to address it they are changing the way the figures are collected. KW
  10. Er actually no its not payback time for the commonwealth, the commonwealth is a fairly modern term and those in it tend to apply and join, so I assume you refer to the Empire were we ruled either directly or indirectly and developed encouraged and created stability, wealth, safe communities and an infrastructure that worked for those countries, still with progression and the clamor for independence (listening are you wee eck) we dropped the empire bit, no more flag waving once a year in the school playground, and we let the associated countries go and develop their own states and culture, and gain full independence, from our shelter, yes things have moved on dramatically since then for a hell of a lot of them, BACKWARDS that is,so have we a lot to say sorry for then! KW
  11. We didn't start it? and they are coming from Libya , er who supported and funded the push ( air strikes and no fly zones etc) to see the Libyan regime taken out and the capture and murder (very civilsed) on TV of Gaddafi and who opened the country up to traffickers and thugs? We deliberately set about for "regime change" and we supplied weapons to the ah hem opposition who are now far worse than the regime replaced, immigrants in Calais interviewed on the BBC where from Afghanistan and Iran ,so who de-stabilised that then? the tooth fairy! yep sorry it is down to us we gave a false promise and we set about on an action that we had never had and still dont have a planned conclusion of. KW
  12. Where to? we cant send people back to a cruel and murderous existence, created thanks to our ever so moral obligation to do away with leaders who ran countries the way those countries NEEDED ruling, harsh perhaps but definitely true! did we make life better for the "oppressed" I would say no if anything a damn sight worse, and even more so now that due to OUR like it or not total de- stabilisation of north Africa and most of the middle east,. And of course the aim of coming through a safe country to get to us is not helped in the least by our mad diverse and multicultural experiment and the little fact we also sent out the message that the yellow brick road really does end on our shore's, the term reap what you sow has never been more apt. KW
  13. No problem with that at all, only thing is do we believe the road tax and the tax we pay on fuel and then the tax we pay on the tax that is on the fuel!!!actually goes on the roads? KW
  14. Apparently the problems in Calais with thousands of immigrants invading the town in their efforts to cross to England, are our problem and the deputies mayor's exact words are they should not be stopped till Dover and good luck to them in their efforts? whats the bet some agreement is soon reached to allow some in. KW
  15. I agree, the main reason apart from age that I wont ever have another motorcycle, though if the right 90s came along? and unlike on the continent we dont allow purposefully for cycles, the best efforts we make are to paint a broken line as a segregation and the first thing that happens is a car parks on it forcing you into the road, so until we do build cycle ways and physically separate, we live in hope that drivers allow for cyclists, but as seen here seems they would rather wave angrily and indignantly or even spray them with windscreen wash, how nice. KW
  16. Its no waving anything, its simply displaying a past in the wasted effort of trying to get the point across that if you do support cyclists (and yes among them there are tits like in every walk of life) you dont have to be a singular minded selfish cyclist, you can also be a very active motorist, albeit a considerate motorist ( a rare commodity in this thread) in that some can understand and recognise and that those on bikes need a little more in the way of consideration distance and patience, I had hoped you may have realised that, rather than as assumed it was look at my manhood stance. KW
  17. join the club 1st bike was an nsu quickly twin seatin 1967, work it out,had every thing from triumphs, enfields, suzuki's kwackers to BMW's and goldwing P reg,oh and a lethal horrible laverda jota that was genuinely determined to kill me, and yes at my age I still love to go to work on my cycle.I am not a selfish cyclist I am simply a hater of those who are beyond the term impatient and inconsiderate when it comes to those who are still capable of getting of their *****. KW
  18. Yep they are seemingly all coming like that now, much more sensible, mine renewed last month is no longer species specific , it does however still stipulate on ammo I.E its states exp, perhaps your target rifle ammo if a singular caliber does not state exp ? KW
  19. I actually have three cars, and have had more motor bikes than you have had hot dinners, yet when I can I ride a cycle , so no my attitude is not one as cyclist singularly its one of a considerate rather than pig ignorant road user. KW No I am not antagonistic rather realistic, and not as you seem a pedant. by the way as for learning, learning is easy its the understanding bit that's hard? KW
  20. So what? they have a RIGHT to be on the road, the speed limit for the section they are on is a max not a min, that reasoned enough? KW
  21. The term tosh was used to address the term prohibit, the fact that because cyclists regardless of formation are in front of you, and the act of YOU overtaking, would put YOU in dangerous position does not mean you are prohibited it means you do not have enough grey matter to warrant the progression beyond mud skipper,so then you have to WAIT yes god forbid WAIT till the situation is safe to overtake, as with any act of overtaking anyone/ anything, ever been behind a wide load or an abnormally long vehicle, or 2 police horse's , a tractor /JCB etc are they prohibiting you getting past ? I would suggest not, they just make the act of getting past a little bit more of a consideration, will that do for you? or is your right foot like that of most inconsiderate idle car drivers in that its put direct to automatic unthinking foot down mode? and lord help anyone or anything that makes the act of lifting off come into play. KW
  22. Really? jeez plenty have kids purely as a source of income. KW
