Some more info for you:- We shoot 10 guns. Full guns £950, Half guns £475. Dates this year are starting:- Saturday 15th October every two weeks. Beaters Day will be 21 January (but guns still get a shot). Cocks Day 28 January and normally an extra scratch around on 1 February. We shoot at Harbottle outside of Rothbury. We meet at bakers at Rothbury for bacon sandwich at 8.30ish, aim to get to farm for 9ish start. Most of us are from Ashington/Newbiggin and we run the shoot ourselves. There are some good shots on our shoot as well as novices like me. It is very friendly down to earth and we have never advertised for any members before. This year a few cannot join due to work commitments as well as some starting new families. We are looking for guns hopefully with dogs so they can help with the beating as we do not pay for beaters and are self reliant on friends etc. We have a break at lunchtime in our cabin, quick bite to eat and drink then out again.
