another enjoyable read marsh man, I had a poor season in one club so I decided to concentrate on another club where I managed to get a few geese, hoping to make use of this moon and get a couple of flights in before the season on the shore draws to a close 👍 -

To be honest I can only assume they were featured to showcase what they have out or in the pipeline, ‘look what hp steel can do!….plus a bit of Bismuth’ 🙄 -

Most likely a lot more than I’d be willing to pay -
another good tale to read marsh man, I've said it before and I'll say it again, you really should write a book 👍

well....I still think its good to see steel cartridges performing 😆. @enfieldspares I'm intrigued as to why you and a few others won't use gamebore cartridges? -

To be fair he had 2 shots very early on at the same bird which to me didn't appear hit -
Afternoon, has anybody else seen the video Dave posted a couple of hours ago? I have been using steel for a number of years for wildfowling so know what it can do but I was impressed with some of the birds taken in this video with a couple of different steel loads. He mentions at the start of the video about the British shooting show where they'll be talking about the new steel loads on the gamebore stand, I know some folk aren't fans of steel but as a wildfowler its nice to see new loads coming onto the market.

I have emailed them, pointing out every ad seems to have ‘two triggers and non-ejectors.’ I feel sorry for anyone listing a gun, if they get one letter wrong it won’t show up now that you have to search for certain guns, I know it’d show eventually in a general search but so will hundreds of other ads.

I'm so glad someone spoke up, I was beginning to wonder if I'd been scammed! Mind you I've had worse adverts

armsans look a good bet, I've read good things about them over the years, must admit I see the pros of both types of mechanisms but luckily I'm in no rush.

Cheers for that, I think I’ve spent more time looking at semi-autos than over/unders as makes are being mentioned I hadn’t thought or read about, another excuse to browse guntrader

Looks like RC factory steel works ok for geese as well, good to see 👍

Thanks for the replies chaps, 3 other makes to have a look at, I forgot to say about the weight, I would be looking for something around the 6lb mark

Afternoon, I’m looking to get a 20 bore in the spring ready for next season as I’m wanting to try and do a bit more duck shooting on the shore. I was wondering what 20 bores folk have been using to good effect? I’m aware of the ‘what fits best’ but I’m looking at yildiz/kofs for over/unders and even more brands in semi autos. Factory steel loads seem to be capable for ducks from what I’ve read and I’m geared up to load some hw15 should the chance of geese arises, cheers for your time.
