Hi all I was just wondering if anybody has had any experience with the above mentioned, it's a gen1 scope that my dad has given me, it looks ok at night but I was wondering if you could do anything with it to improve the range?
-
Don't get much softer than the comp x range, I hear the 21g is even softer but I've used the 28g and felt fine afterwards.
-
God I hope it hasn't been lost in the post!
-
Great video really enjoyed it, what calibre was you using for the foxes? Cheers J
-
Make sure you do! Can't wait to see it! Hopefully not 'lost in post'

Fair play!

Didn't even realise the old trick of putting another name on it and bumping up the price applied to air pellets! Seems webley are making a habit of it! First the air rifle made by hatsan now these!

'This additional benefit will be available to the Association’s existing and new full (competition) members from the 1st April 2014, at the existing rate of £64 for a years membership.' I presume this means it's included in a years membership (£64)

I have an aerial assault as well, can't complain for 250 quid new but as above take good care of it. Sometimes a clay will jam even with a heavy stack and will smash several clays without clearing itself

I must admit these webley accupels I'm using seem nice! I have read though that the crossmans are the same but cheaper

Hi Mc if you want a good laugh send evo a private message saying you've heard JSB exact pellets are the most overrated pellet going!

Check the power level! I've seen on here several times of new guns being around 10 and below

old news - bromsgrove gun shop accident
Ttfjlc replied to sterling's topic in General Shooting Matters
I wouldn't deal with them again and I live in south Lincolnshire! We found a nice little 28 bore on guntrader from them for my son, my dad paid full price over the phone but asked if they could throw in a couple of boxes of cartridges to sweeten the deal and we're told that that shouldn't be a problem. I called a week or so later to purchase 3 extra boxes (at £9 each!) because I knew what my son would be like he was shooting at holbeach marsh and said he would bring the gun with him, low and behold there were only the 3 boxes I'd purchased and when my dad enquired about the other 2 apparently after I'd bought mine somebody else had come in the shop and bought the rest! I'd be lying if I said that I didn't take great pleasure of the fact he'd travelled all those miles and not had a shot -

Agreed, I thought that £33 per kg seemed a little pricy -

1000 cartridges @ 30 gram = 30kg of shot -
*trap just before anybody asks what a "tarp" gun is

Have to take it steady going to grimsthorpe, limited ground clearance plus potholes not so good! A great sporting layout though makes up for it
-
Geez that's great value! Anywhere near South Lincolnshire by any chance?
-
I've been looking at getting one of these, the older diesel has around 86 bhp where as the hdi engine has 107 bhp

Cheers guys appreciate it

Hi all, finally going to buy an air cylinder at the weekend but need to know where I can get a fill adaptor and end cap, before anybody asks I have not lost these parts seen some 'snap on' adaptors for a tenner but when I spoke to a gunshop today they said £23 quid?! As for the end cap not managed to find any yet
-
Well next time I'm at orston I'll have a go at the sporting I reckon, tried compaq, skeet and dtl with my mate last week for the first time. Let's just say I'll stick to sporting for now! Steadily improving, managed to get my best score of 72 at grimsthorpe the other week.
-
Well if I accept your open invitation I'll buy some comp x but tell you they're home loaded with eley VIP sporting
-
Surprised you don't use hull comp x cases, make people believe for a laugh your achieving consistent high scores with a budget shell
