  1. Raja -Or give some examples?
  2. Can you explain how please?
  3. Are you about 50yrs old and did a lot of comps/gradings at Crystal Palace?
  4. I agree, however i feel that Cyclists should be accountable/recognisable in some way and that it is a necessary regulation. If you drive in London, then you will clearly see the vast majority of cyclist flouting most of the rules.
  5. BUT they are not allowed to be used in public places except by authorised licensed persons. So your argument confirms what i am saying that if used in a Public place, like a cycle they should be licensed. Anyone seen using one (air rifle) in public gives the Police the right to stop and request to see the Licensed permission.
  6. Whats the procedure if it has no neck? Shot a bird a few years ago that came down through a tree and must have got caught and had no head, neck.
  7. The only flaw in your argument is that people are calling for Licences for Cycles that are used in public areas, whereas airguns aren't. I would like cyclist to be identifiable and licensed/registered if used on a public highway/area. If used on private property, like airguns or other vehicles they would not need to be.
  8. Thank you. This has been going on for months! The "current" supplier will come out and "find" the meter and show me where it is but only if i sign up to them for a year. I cannot sign up to the new supplier without a final reading and settling any moneys owed, if owed!
  9. If the water company say "its to the right of the hydrant", i presume that Is to the right as you are looking at the sign? Like this?
  10. Thanks for all the replies, i'll spend some more time trying to locate it tomorrow
  11. Great thanks. I presume SV sign stands for service valve? What does WO sign stand for?
  12. Is it the big yellow H? And will the hydrant be directly in front of the sign?
  13. Feels like it! Will the meter be in line with the service valves pipe or will it come off at 90’ to the main pipe? The meter is a commercial supply to the farm. thanks Do you know which sign is for the hydrant?
  14. The blue is the colour of some of the hydrant covers
  15. Apparently not! This is across the road. I believe this hedge used to be part of the farm? the location has been supplied by the water company!
  16. Hi do any of these signs indicate where the water meter is? i have been told it’s next to the fire hydrant. So far I have found 9 fire hydrant hatches!!
  17. If thats all you have against you, then in my opinion you will get your licence eventually. I know someone who was caught drink driving after a shoot. He was only just over, but he was over! He lost his SGC. The shooting organisation he was with advised him to wait a few years and then re-apply. I cant remember exactly how long it was, but i think it was about 4 years and then he applied and got it. But that was SGC not FAC. Yes

  20. Its a CS,BPS crop. Farmer gets paid £595/hectare to grow it. It doesn't get harvested but it naturally provides 1 ton of "bird seed" per hectare, for the wild birds over the winter months when bird food is scarce. There are a few types, the one you have listed is a yearly crop (we have the same one on some of ours) There are also two year crops. It works! We have hundreds of different song birds, some quite rare on the farm. Also good for the bee's
  21. Exactly this. If i'm right the phone company your with, BT? invoices you the £100's and then pays them? Why cant they stop it?
  22. I wonder what the statistics are for someone being killed or seriously hurt in a road rage incident? 150 potential road rage incidents and counting! I would say the odds are not in his favour.
