Cheers for the condolences, what a nice bunch of people you all are, restore my faith in the human race. Can't edit the thread anymore for some reason but remington gun sock is now sold. -
Unfortunately due to a split with the other half I've got to sell my kit as I need the money for another house etc. And have no more permission, as it was her old man that was the game keeper on said land... So here goes I have: 4x2 meter camo net Fold up seat 12x full body decoys (could do with a paint maybe but they've worked fine for me) 10x stands for the full body decoys (a couple have canes in the bottom) 5x black shells (I used to pack my crow patterns out) 1x bouncer/floater 2x top of hide nets 9x home made wooden neck props 2x lofting weights 1x cartridge/drink holder 1x gun stay (Both of the above are home made and clip onto hide poles) 1x camo balaclava 5x wooden hide poles, with mallet and drift 4x pegs for base of hide Many steel rods for dead bird decoys If I can find them I also have 2 telescopic green b&q hide (washing line) poles And all fits in a handy duffel bag for ease of dragging it into the field Ideally I'd like this collected as it's quite heavy and bulky to post and I'm not keen on splitting it Asking for £90 Ono for all of the above (Spaniels not included in sale) Also for sale I have; a Ucaller Extreme and loud speaker with crow and fox cards (crow one for photographic purposes) all still boxed like new SOLD A primos power crow hand caller used twice SOLD A foxcalluk squeaker again used a handful of times £8 A cartridge bag hold 100 cartridges in good condition SOLD Remington gun sock silicon impregnated brand new never opened £5 Also a host of cartridges (shotgun certificate must be presented when buying) 18x lyalvale 3" HP steel 36g #3 £4 25x lyalvale 3" express max game plastic 50g #1 £10 38x Eley pigeon plastic 32g #6.5 £5 PROV SOLD 91 Eley vip game fibre 32g #5 £15 PROV SOLD All cartridges are strictly collection only! Any questions etc on the items please Pm me I'm based in leicestershire for collection Many thanks Matt

As much as I always think buy the best you can afford... Just last week I got a 6-9 bipod off a popular auction site for the grand sum of £20 posted. It doesn't tilt or swivel like these spangly ones do but I had it for my 12ftlb daystate, I only do a bit of bench rest and the odd rabbit with it so didn't want to spend a fortune. Anyway I'll cut to the chase, I am impressed with it especially for it being a fraction of the price, fast removable with a thumb screw it just comes off the swivel stud. For what I use it for it is fantastic. Take from it what you will buy its bob on for my needs.

Have you had a look at evanix range... Acquired taste but bullpups none the less
-
These are electrical nightmares if I'm honest... Fast capable motors none the less, just hang out for the right one. Any problems with the key card walk away, it costs £££ to fix.

Asif it wasn't enough heat just from the exhaust gases etc from the turbo, as you compress air it also hears up... Intercoolers are a vital piece of engine equipment for forced induction engines, removing it you with have less dense air (colder air is more dense) there for you will be running rich and the gasses will be phenomenally hot without an intercooler that you will lose a lot of power and there's a very slight possibility of causing damage to your engine. Your intercooler cools the hot air from the turbo (think of it as a air radiator if you will) Matt

So I went into my local rfd to look at chopping in my bsa hornet .22 for an r-10 in .177.... Walked in looked at the r-10 they had on the shelf but was massively over shadowed by a daystate mk3, I was taken in by its stunning looks and the 4-16x56 leapers scope on it, expecting it to be .22 and my hopes ruined, I looked closer and it was .177... Happy days and she come home with me.

Sounds like the voice of reason to me. Many thanks chaps

It's up at £500 but it's at an rfd... So I have comeback?
-
Hopefully off to look at a bsa r-10 mk1 in .177 at the weekend to chop in my .22 bsa hornet, is there anything I should know about with these? Any horror stories and if I was to bring it home any pellet advice, nothing too heavy as I do a fair bit of paper punching as therapy. Ta Matt
