That's the problem, i can't be there every day, i have a full time job.
Shootgun it would still work if you did it 2 or 3 times a week even feed at night and then fly them at weekends .

Dont use any sort of feeder just tip it on the bank then as they get older start to feed them further and further away from the pond and the trick is not to over feed them keep them keen and clear all the feed up each day then start to make them fly back to the pond they need to bulid up wing muscle.

No pheasant shoot within 15 miles.
Then maybe its a wild bird crop which is part of the new steward ship scheme .
-
Is there a pheasant shoot there it looks like a mixed seed cover crop or wild bird mix to me.

Why not order from Just Cartridges they will deliver to your door.

Moving to South Devon any one know if there are any Wildfowling clubs in the area or Dorset which is close by.

I had many a wooden box of Baikal, but I remember them as £67/1000?? Very early ‘70’s.
Eley GP were £110 to £120.If my memory serves me right they were on special offer from a gun shop up in Essex I got the lorry driver from the company I then worked for to pick them up for me when he was up there delivering so it was before certifiates.

I used the green Baikal ones in the 70s. Horrible, but cheap. The 9mm garden gun cartridge with the green and white chequering - is that paper? My dad bought a box of similar ones and the paper burnt, creating an impressive muzzle flash and ashes in the barrel.
Baikal were £48 per 1000 and came in a wooden outer box that I used as a log basket for years.

May be wrong, but I would guess they would be over 45 years old at least.
The original paper ones would be 40+ years old the ones I have are plastic case and wad, they were loaded by Frank Dyke who also mad FD and Matchless.

Me to ,the original paper ones as shown were very dirty the later plastic case ones were much better I still have 200 of these used some on crows the other week and even though they must be over 25 years old they killed very well .
