  1. If they are "Technichoke" you can order directly from the Fair store (italy) It will take a couple of weeks to arrive but they seem fairly priced https://www.fair-store.com/en/technichoke
  2. VV N135 with a 25gr bullet is a load that pops up a lot The book max is 22.8gr. We are loading 23.5gr for 4200 fps in a 26" barrel (slightly warm load). 24gr is getting too hot. P.S. Use thick primers in the .17 Rem e.g. Rem 7.5, CCI 450 / Br4 etc.
  3. Could work well on big open fields if you aim to hit the ground just in front of the target and spill the shot like in the video. Some people still chase foxes at night on the back of a landrover pickup with shotgun, could work well for that. Too dangerous to use with other people around though
  4. Shot some patterns with the Miroku 28 bore, thought it might interest some on here. Used a Teague Half choke at 40 yards. Hull High Pheasant 23gm No.7 Fibre approx. 62% Gamebore Pure Gold 25gm No.6 Fibre approx. 57% Lyalvale Express 19gm No.6 Plastic approx. 51.4%
  5. Gamebore Steel Game Loads: BBs = 4.25mm No. 1 = 3.82mm No. 3 = 3.52mm No. 5 = 3.05mm
  6. You want to raise the stock (reduce the drop at face). This makes your eye sit higher, thus you bring the front bead higher to meet the target, and so the muzzles are inclined further upwards moving the pattern upwards
  7. 8, 7.5 & 6.5 will be clay loads and 6 & 4 will be the game loads
  8. Bought a 28 bore Miroku and very happy with it. Have some Pure Gold 25gm No.6 and will get some Hull 23gm 7 too The standard Browning invector chokes are a bit strange, when I measured / patterned them I got: Marked 'Quarter' = 3 thou = 37% Marked 'Half' = 6 thou = 36% Marked 'Full' = 18 thou = 53% That was with Express 19gm No. 6 Plas Good patterns though ... might just go with 7s to bulk out the density Might try Mr. Teague, but I want flush chokes as this is more of a game gun
  9. I only load rifle cartridges but if you could do 28 bore with a nobel sport double base powder that would be very cool Shot size 6.5 would work well
  10. £30 a slab of 100 at countryways http://www.countrywaygunshop.co.uk/steel-tungsten-matrix-and-bismuth-shotgun-cartridges/
  11. Muller U3s in both barrels in the sporting clays gun. Personally found the U2s weren't tight enough for rangey edge on targets in my gun (the gun seems to naturally pattern open), and the U4 was fun but beyond my ability to make any use of (although it makes an excellent high bird choke with 5s). Rhino Ported Waterfowl IM in the auto, throws nice patterns about 5/8 in my gun, done a bit of pigeon decoying with it and I get good kills at range, even though it's a bit tighter than necessary it doesn't seem to really be a hinderance. (The Mullers H2Os are also very good to be honest I just prefer the ported choke ... mainly because it looks cool ) And sorry I don't have any invector chokes they're all invector plus
