Should be able to pick up a new howa 1500 for that money and have change if you shop around.
-
I think welsh warrior has said it already but it will depend on your barrel as to which thread you can have not only for asthetic looks but more importantly the integrity of the barrell.

Awsome guns, mine cycles 24s so no prob with 28s!!
-
Niko stirling platinum nighteater 6-24X56 for its cost it is great. Nothing you buy for that sort of money will be a Swarovski so as long as you don't expect miracles......
-
I do understand your concerns but the fact that the holes were put there by "unloaded" guns I would imagine the people in "control" of those guns at the time were practicing poor safety and regardless of if they had a safe flag, regardless of how it was made those holes would probably still be there.
-
That's how I did mine. Good job!
-
I'm more concerned that you would be able to mix up a live cartridge with one with a whopping great bit of ribbon sticking out the end.
-
I made some with empty shotgun shells and some ribbon

Get that kitchen draw open!! I wait in hope that maybe just maybe there is a bent spoon in the draw. If you find madonna in there however please put her back and lock the draw again!!
-

Can we have a pic of the cabinet so we can see what all the fuss was about?
-
Have we seen evidence of said cabinet yet? I would be interested to see what it looks like and it may help someone give you a better idea how to get into it!

Primer flash holes
Subaru_sti5 replied to steve_b_wales's topic in Bullets, Cartridges and Reloading
A lot of military rounds have 2 flash holes as to get the powder burning from more surface area rather than just straight up the middle with 1 flash hole, it's designed to give a better ignition and burn.
