  1. Won't do for you..But for me, a couple of squares of very dark chocolate and a glass of red wine...works for ordinary headaches as well....gone within half an hour...Yea, I know I'm odd.. Strangely a glass of red and dark chocolate cripples my sister with horrendous migranes..
  2. Another for Polsilver Super Iridiums...I always get mine from Gemstone Trading....There are fakes blades out there, but Gemstone is the genuine article. He does other Blades as well.. reliable seller and cheap.
  3. Had a memory foam one a few years ago..very expensive, but hated the thing..Very hot, clammy feel to 'em when sleeping, very unpleasant like having a fever...Went back to pocket sprung again..
  4. Not so, as far as I know, or at least not in my case...Though you will almost certainly get erectile dysfunction to one degree or another with Tamsulosin... The surgery...Hot wire for mine....rearranges the interior plumbing somewhat, creating the retrograde ejaculation....Or so I was informed at the time.
  5. Lived with BPH for about twenty years, on Tamsulosin for about ten years...Everything fine, flow good and no problems...until one day, quite suddenly I couldn't pee, It just stopped, just a cartoon drop, even though I was bursting to go...Anyway to cut a long story short I ended up in A&E and had a catheter fitted, What a relief......I had a waterworks infection, and was given the choice, Antibiotics or have it "bored out"...As this was the second time this had happened I opted for surgery.. Absolutely dreaded going into hospital, which was my first time in 69 years....But having lived with a catheter for 3 months until my turn came up, I was glad I did...The surgery was a complete NON event, even though I was awake throughout..I had an Epidural...I didn't even need a paracetamol afterwards and the staff were superb... ******* like a racehorse now...And touch wood, still going strong five years down the line.... Get it done pal...If I can do it so can you. Only down side, if it is a down side is you get what they call retrograde ejaculation..which means when you ejaculate the gissum goes backwards into the bladder and is peed out later...
  6. Hi gunny..had mine done four years ago...I had problems with a weak stream and stop start peeing for about twenty years...Took pills of the herbal variety..Saw Palmetto I think they were called, I slept better than I ever have in my life with those, but unfortunately they did nothing for my enlarged prostrate. Doctor put me on Tamsulosin after a finger up nether regions investigation, enlarged prostrate diagnosis but otherwise ok...I took these for years until a bladder infection one day, and suddenly busting for a pee, and nothing coming out, the more you forced it the less came out...literally one or two cartoon droplets... The long and short of it was I ended up in A&E and a catheter fitted, not nice, but the relief was instant ( I had the catheter for three months)...I was given the choice of more pills or a TURPS procedure, I opted for the TURPS..this involved a hot wire loop paring away the inside of the prostrate...I think....It all sounds horrendous, but in reality was a complete NONE event...This was done with an epidural ( spinal injection)This was also a NONE event, despite what it sounds like...Awake through out and chatting to the theatre staff, and within an hour, recovering with a cheese sandwich and a cup of tea.....I didn't even need a paracetamol, NO pain NO discomfort whatsoever ....The bits from the procedure were biopsied and came back clear by the way....I was In hospital for two nights by the way and the staff were marvellous.... This from a guy with an absolute terror of all things medical.and I mean terror, verging on phobia... Especially hospitals..At 69 years old at the time and never been to hospital............Now three years down the line and waterworks are like pouring water from a watering can, Never had such a flow, ever. Get it sorted kid...the biggest terror is the unknown.
  7. The photography is generally superb in these programmes...But self opinionated, Ex spurts..(and thats what most of 'em are...Ex spurts,) are a real turn off, regardless of the subject they're prattling on about...
  8. I've seen this before years ago...Cinnabar moth I believe.....Beautiful, bright red moths.
  9. I had the TURPS procedure about 18 months ago...I'd been putting it off and putting it off and been on Tamsulosin for years, until one day I wanted a **** and nothing happened, just couldn't go..... Bearing in mind it was my first stay in hospital at 69 years old. terrified of the idea was an understatement...But I had no choice, it was that or explode... And guess what the whole TURPS procedure was a complete NONE EVENT...I had an epidural ( spinal ) and was awake through out, Chatting to the nurses and didn't feel anything at all.. the epidural was no more than a couple of wasp stings ...Yes really......and 20 minutes after the op I was sat up in bed with a cheese sarny and a brew.... Didn't even need an aspirin, NO pain and NO discomfort at all..Not then and none since....And the old water works are now brilliant....Get it done pal, From my view point it was nothing at all.........
  10. Great little gun..Enjoy It....I'm just restoring an old Belgian single hammer at the moment, Nice to see the big smile on everyones face when they shoot a 410...
  11. Now that is one Gorgeous truck....All time favourite.
  12. Wonderful stuff...Love it with butter melted on top
  13. I get occasional misfires with Hard primers on Fiocchi Top one 28gm...Shot through a Beretta White Onyx 12gauge...Usually one misfire in 100 carts or so....Looks like a light strike by the firing pin....My gunsmith pal puts it down to the odd hard primer....Not a great problem, but it spoils the flow, if you know what I mean.
  14. Very nice, he has some very good looking toys in that garage. Just wish when showing cars or bikes, that they'd let us hear more of the exhaust notes...
  15. If UKIP and the Eurosceptics get the lions share of the seats, I wonder if the EU will give us all another chance to vote again, to try to get it right next time.
  16. Might sound like a daft question...But what is ATF
  17. Two or three caravan breakers on the East coast... One at Hunmamby near Bridlington Another just down the road at Reighton And there is one in Hull on the dock area.....Sorry don't know the names, but think you'll find them on the Web....They all carry large stocks of S/H spares, can be a bit pricey though.
  18. Well said Bluebarrels...You get my vote as well.
  19. Surprising result..always thought I was more moderate. UKIP BNP Conservatives
  20. Nice to see someone quoting in Imperial sizes...I get an instant "size picture" with Imperial measurements.......................Metric measure.....Nothing......could mean anything between 1inch and 25 yards.
  21. The only ones I have done were spun on a lathe..They were knackered anyway, the insets missing or broken and the finish patchy... It was just a project for me and the bowls were not intended to be used again, but it saved them from being thrown away...You can't get Lignum vitae of that quality anymore. The bowls were actually slightly warped when spun on the lathe, By that I mean the fine lines did not run true around the circumference of the bowl..I cleaned these up by turning the lathe by hand and used a small specially made cutter to re-cut the grooves...It worked very well..The rest of the bowl was lightly sanded..I would be wary of breathing Lignum dust, as I can't imagine it being good for you... Some of the insets were missing, some were nacre ( mother of pearl ) I cut new ones for these from scrap shell I had lying about...the others were elephant Ivory...yeah I know frowned upon now..But I cut a slice on the lathe from an old billiard ball to replace that.... The finish I used was a lathe friction polish called Speed n eeze..( trade name) and that gave a superb shiny finish, whilst allowing the natural wood to show to best effect....Not sure how hard wearing it would be in the real world of hard knocks....but its certainly ok for an ornamental set.... Probably not of much use to you....The only other finish I can think of that might be appropriate would be some sort of hand rubbed wax or oil finish over a sanding sealant.........As you know Lignum vitae is very dense and fine grained, and is naturally pretty oily stuff anyway.
  22. I have a B80 12 gauge with an Ali receiver...Beautiful gun, it cycles anything from 21gm upwards, with no problem, and is a joy to shoot....Its nice and simple to strip and clean for a gas auto as well, unlike some of the modern ones, which have got overly complicated to my mind... I paid £ 230 for mine a year ago, Its not mint, but it is in very good nick, and flawless inside where it counts....Just keep the gas piston clean and shiny and the gas holes into the barrel clear with a pipe cleaner and you won't have any problems....you can download the handbook /service manual off the web for free if you need it..... The Aluminium receiver isn't just ordinary aluminium by the way...Its a very high grade Aircraft stuff....light but strong.
