  3. I've not been for at least that long, still got a variety of powders in small quantities but just bought two new guns a 10 and 410 so wanting to re-stock. It's a shame but understand their position
  4. I didn,t go last year, wondered if it was the same. No small or large bore components and steel shot....... Looking bad for home loaders

  6. Buy another gun and wait for better weather for the fishing, its what im doing
  7. Heads up for any that were planning to collect stuff, just found out that C&G won't be going to Scone, don't know if it's common knowledge. Certainly makes it even harder to get hold of ever dwindling components
  8. I see plenty of Otters, below is a picture I took last year of a pair living amongst and living off young rabbits on my croft. plenty of grub for them without getting a toe wet. After several years as a Mink trapper it was my experience that Otters and Mink co-exist but may avoid each other. not sure why they would want to fight, as either could end up with serious injury. Maybe if an Otter was very hungry !... edit to say I think these are youngish possibly siblings
  9. My dad had a Norco 10ft pier rod split cane circa 1950, used with centre pin, [we used to fish off a pier when I was a young lad. Hollow glass would have been after that following solid glass, i would age your rod in the 1960's I thought at first the reel was an Alvey an Australian centrepin that turned around and allowed you to cast as a fixed spool, then turn back and reel in as a centrepin, Does it turn ?
  10. Do they own the houses they live in ? .....plenty of rooms there for some deserving types.πŸ˜‰
  11. Another *** crisis. Having no food, being in an earthquake, war, are examples of a crisis. If you have a big house its because you earned it [or inherited it] feel free to live in it, without guilt until your heart stops or until you want to sell up and buy something else correct
  12. Only recently Conor/ BASC posted on here about how Falconry is part of our cultural heritage https://www.shootinguk.co.uk/news/isnt-shooting-part-of-our-living-heritage-147131/
  13. Best of luck in the future, respect your decision but you never know, you might still feel the urge to get out when you get a glimpse of a full moon on a stormy night. πŸ‘
  14. Comes in a freshly mown grass flavour and suitable for vegans !

  18. Stupid me, failed to read your post
  19. I think the people make themselves heard [unlike us that bend over and take it] was just reading about farmers demonstrating outside Paris, they had blocked the road with a straw stack, then settled in with toilets a free bar and food, they are not going until their demands are met
  20. Interesting. Looked it up, would you recommend it.lπŸ€“
