  1. Well said.I think itll take a few more generations for the bigotry to die out before we can even hope for people to look at it with a level head! Im sad to say i doubt very much that any unionst up here will be swayed no mater how good economic prospects may become, tribal divides will win as usual!
  2. Wrong there would be two similtanious referendums one here and one in the south!A positive result is needed in both for a united ireland! Personally i would like to see it happen a level debate about the pros and cons would be a good thing! Unfortunatly i feel r politicians would turn it into a slagging match that would make the recent remain scare tactics look honorable!
  3. Welcome along! Nice part of the world up your way! Gun wise: a few shotguns and 3 rifles, the 17 hornet is the only one that sees the light of day these days! ET
  4. Just get a scope with numbered target turretts and take note of clicks needed between 2 zeros.
  5. First and only brand new was a glock 34 in 2014, Always feel much better getin a very slightly used one for a good price. ET
  6. Cant fault my hornet! Only rifle that sees the light of day recently! Went for the CZ myself
  7. Hello rick, You really would be better contacting the landlord,or a spark if you no any! Its probably a really simple case of someone having changed out one or more of the switches and connecting them incorrectly! Simple process to work through when your there but quite difficult to explain IMO! Sorry cant be of more help! ET
  8. Terribly sorry to hear! Cant offer first hand experiance but ive heard this before because of unfounded alegations by an irate ex! Unfortunatly the police seem to er on the side of caution at the expense of the inocent party! ET
  9. Maybe consider also the 686 EVO Much the same gun as the new silver pigeon sporters, opti bore and choke! Just much nicer wood and plainer stlyed action! Cant fault mine at all! Couldnt get on with the pam swell on the gold E that i shot, but everyone is different! ET Edit to say; only payed £1200 for an imaculate 686 evo so a few quid left over for carts!
  10. I shot a lanber fixed choke for years! Never really felt underguned still use it for decoying and rough shooting! The 1/4 and 1/2 cover nearly everthing quite well! Have a sporter mutichoke aswell now and chokes are only changed when shooting skeet, otherwise its still 1/4 and 1/2!
  11. Keep us posted how the 120 turns out! Aye im more than happy with 3550fps could probably run it a bit faster but dont see the point! Had 7 rabbits today that wernt impressed! Are you hunting with your fireform loads mick?how do they shoot? Id heard the 1680 was dirty aswell but i thought it was very clean much better than the H110! Er
  12. Never tryed the 120 myself mate! By all accounts there pretty close! Ive enough 1680 to do me a long time!so il stick to it just a bit of further refinement and maybe try a few different primers! ET
  13. Quick update for anyone interested! AA1680(actually lovex do63 now) arrived yesterday! Loaded rounds last night starting at 10gr and moving up to 12.2 gr Nipped out thisevening to try them out, this is definitly the best powder so far. Ended up with first signs of pressure at 12 grains(bolt geting a bit sticky) for 3700fps! So stopped there! Set up the targets and tried a few more running from 11.4 to 11.8! Of these the 11.6 shot the best, although the wind was strong so will do some more testing to confirm! Load for now 20 gr Vmax 11.6 grains @ 1.720 OAL Running at 3550 fps
  14. Good shooting! The temptation for a hushpower is growing with me! Not the easiest gun to sneak past the misus though!
  15. Couldnt get them to group worth a dam in my CZ. Funny about the head shot acrobatics, ive shot rabbits with the hornet and had the head disapear and they still jump all over the place! ET
