  1. RIP my darling. Forever in my heart.

  2. time flies like an arrow fruit flies like a banana
  3. My turn to cook today pork schnitzel, home made potato salad and salad veggies
  4. I had to laugh the other day an old boy I talk to regularly says he's smoked since he was 14, (he's now 85) and is fit as a fiddle, says when he started smoking he was on capstan full strength (they were pure evil.....) and now smokes what he describes as his own evil concoction, which even he admits, smells a bit like a cross between a burning straw stack and burning car tyres, with a bit of burning manure thrown in........well he reckons after 60 odd years of that, nowt will kill him, and as he put it...theres a reason you creosote fences........ me...I just shake my head and grin....one life...live it......
  5. try telling that to my boss...that i am entitled to as long a break as i want....🤣
  6. he's entitled to .....WE pay their wages, and are thus due an accounting therefor.....
  7. and before anyone cries "anti police"...I'm on of those who think that they should have GREATER POWERS but ONLY within what has been given unto them to do.... for instance they should be able to confiscate caravans from idiots out and about, and even the vehicles of those who break lockdown.
  8. 3 is it or 4 instances of police over reach on what should be straight forward....... confusion? bad communication? or a deliberate and sinister intent to impose more than is asked for ...testing the boundaries so to speak? see what they can get away with?
  9. FROM....https://news.sky.com/story/coronavirus-dalek-patrols-streets-ordering-humans-to-self-isolate-11969126 A Dalek has been spotted patrolling the streets of a small village and ordering "all humans to self-isolate". In a video captured by amused residents, the Doctor Who villain passes through the deserted street while ordering people to comply with "the order of the Daleks". LINK IS SAFE
  10. Nah...he's only got small hadrons
  11. true enough but the bar should be very low .....in your property without invitation having been given (which rules out visitors)
  12. yes.......but the hoops to provide "justification" and the bar they are set at are too much.....it should be unconditional...someone in your home...without permission or warrant.....should be fair game for "whack a mole"....without warning and from behind if thats convenient....
  13. Apart from a couple where the nurse accidently switched from blow to suck......🥴
  14. Personally I think there are two "problems" firstly except in very specific circumstances policing is reactive rather than proactive, which is a product of the second problem, which is law and the Criminal justice system. the police CANT protect YOU the vioctim from the serial burglar / serial feeble minded body vandal until they actually have proof do deal with it....and when they do the lily livered libertarians have emasculated the justice system to the point of derision..... so if burglar bill enters your property unless he actually attacks you (by which time its likely too late) you are NOT allowed to bend a length of 2x4 over his skull.....you may only ask him politely to leave..... whats needed is a change in the law and the attitude and composition of the justices.....You SHOULD be allowed to carry out a preemptive strike on someone in your home without permission.....regardless of whether such a strike is fatal or not..... THAT is not the fault of the police though. That said, i have always thought (but stand to be corrected on this ) that we gave up our right to unrestricted carrying of arms, on the promise that the police would protect us......I'm not entirely convinced that that is working unconditionally.....
