Referee Threshold For A Firearms Certificate
Old farrier replied to Rim Fire's topic in General Shooting Matters
Would it? there’s no way of knowing how each Flo works or thinks nor how they interpret the regulations time will tell on this I’m sure and when the full details are released we should be able to formulate a better opinion -
Well done thanks for listening to the customers 😊👍

Or possibly he’s acting as referee for someone who has not kept within the correct conditions of the licence being a referee is a thing that shouldn’t be taken lightly -
Shooting on clay shooting grounds with no SGC
Old farrier replied to Bobba's topic in Clay Pigeon Shooting
Which is fine but he’s not a loader he’s a novice that wants to learn to shoot and try out some different guns so not really applicable in this gent’s case 😊 -
Shooting on clay shooting grounds with no SGC
Old farrier replied to Bobba's topic in Clay Pigeon Shooting
He should be required to do some paperwork and make a declaration that he’s not a prohibited person iv taken many over the years and things have changed from laid back to sign the sheet to more formal paperwork something I don’t have a problem with it there ground there rules as far as taking leftover cartridges home why would you 🤔 buy 50 shoot 50 simple no point in causing possible problems for your application -

Just a thought arnt gamekeepers paid to control pests and vermin as part of their job then if they invite a group of beaters roost shooting or vermin 🤔 appreciate the main point is paying a guide or paying a farmer 😊 so are you paying for the shooting or being paid to do the shooting which one is the grey area 🤔

And yet at the top end of the sport jockeys event riders show jumping there seems a higher male % 🤔
-
Not actually 😂 a emoji smiling 🙂 or laughing would have been appropriate on your post 🤔
-
So 90+% of shooters are male most will have partners and have the opportunity to have a go or at least the opportunity why don’t they take up shooting? because they probably prefer other things as a note here 97% of my clients are female so shooting isn’t a anomaly certain sports hobbies and jobs will always have more of one gender than another do I encourage more male’s? No do I encourage more people in general ? Yes
-
Could you please tell us how many female members there are in Basc %
-
25% and 30% so on % more on the Basc team than the % that shoot nationally personally I’d rather people were employed on there ability to do the job than gender just my thoughts
-
But now it’s all about the environment and the flora and fauna seems a little more though should have gone into this wondering if the home office will be realising figures for performance of police forces on grants 🙄
-
Great idea let’s start with a 410 obviously we’re going to start on the right foot and not use lead steel not available ok bismuth £425 a slab of 250 can you see where the problem is starting?
-
I use the side by side when it’s raining 😂😂
-
H&H 😂 engraving is quite pleasant to 😂😴
-
I tend to like the semi pistol grip although I find the straight hand stock easier with the double trigger
-
Awesome envious of your patience and skill lovely work 😊👍

Isn’t shooting part of our living heritage?
Old farrier replied to Conor O'Gorman's topic in General Shooting Matters
Personally think the whole thread is a distraction to move away from the questions that haven’t really been answered -
I had a 56 with two sets of barrels choked full and extra full in one set lovely gun but with the lead ban looming I moved it on 😢 I do use my anson live pigeon gun a lot my go to side by side although only 2.1/2 inch chambers it still handles 32 grams well if I need to use it
