Hi chaps got to do some building work involving the cement mixer (electric bell type) that works fine and always starts ๐Ÿ˜Šalong with assorted power tools that will inevitably need charging and a 240 chopsaw however where were working thereโ€™s no power so recommend me a generator please think suitable for a building site many thanks of
  7. Could you please tell us who is correct? obviously with the science to back it up simple question either Basc podcast or smudger 687
  8. No marks to prove its age hopefully your license department is more sensible than ours
  9. With no marks for proof of age age your probably going to Need a fac to own it the starting cannons at cowes fire black powder blanks 10 bore and require a fac nice find though ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘
  10. Thereโ€™s no logic to it at all so far itโ€™s just devaluing all tight fixed choke guns all of the lightweight game guns and going to render small boreโ€™s obsolete for what ? to make game meat saleable !!? the environmental impact of lead by logic has to be the more you fire lead cartridges in a area the more impact it will have so by logic the most environmental impact will be on the clay ground not the game shoot
  11. May also need to declare it to the captain of the ferry when he travels back home from collecting it as itโ€™s classed as hazardous cargo ๐Ÿค”
  12. Having tried steel through that purdey I moved it on and went for a heavier weight English gun sad to see it go as it was a pleasure to shoot (with lead ) but no good for what the future holds
  13. Not trying to influence you just offering my opinion as a footnote firing any steel standard or hp through a light weight game gun is not pleasurable in more than the odd shot
  14. This and to add Birmingham proof would put me off along with enlarged boreโ€™s possibly because they had to be polished to remove marks ๐Ÿค” however if you like it and it fits go for it and enjoy butt pad on my purdey
  15. Iโ€™d rather have accuracy than high power ๐Ÿ˜Š
  16. I shoot both ss and ou right handed and load with my right hand ๐Ÿ™„ maybe hard to understand but weโ€™re all different and adopt different styles for many different reasons ๐Ÿ˜Š
  17. Well hereโ€™s the turkey should be enough for a day or two ๐Ÿ˜Š
  18. Iโ€™ve just completed it very biased typically you canโ€™t read it in full unless you have filled in parts absolutely nothing mentioned about clay shooting either lead is toxic to the environment or not failure to mention that if your worried about the possibility of lead poisoning from game donโ€™t eat it do they not realise that the sale of game products is insignificant to the majority of the shoots the guns and beaters have it itโ€™s only the mega big days that have a problem with the disposal of excess as for heirloom guns and favourite guns there already valueless and obsolete no question about whoโ€™s going to pay for re proof or pay for choke reboreing honestly donโ€™t think I have ever seen such a biased survey Apology for ranting a bit remember we were never consulted about the voluntary transition
