  1. the moderator for the 223 is a custom made one by Adenbourn field sorts it is proofed to 6mm (243). it is about 10 inches long. Based on the sako. Very efective on muzel blast. I think I paid 160 or 190 for it.

Not sure of the make of the rings. (I orderd the gun to be screw cut, and have good rings fitted for the scope). the pod on both guns are Outers (almost identical to harris but say "outers") they are 24"/13".

  2. Hushpower: a few scuffs, and a repaired crack in the stock.

Was checked out by gunsmith who said it is safe.

    Other wise good barel.

There is a piece of shot in the moderaror that roles about that I have not been able to shake out.

shoots well I have shot about 500 rounds in this condition (I got it like this).

With subsonics sounds like an air rifle.

I will gave a go at loading some pics.

  3. 12g Hushpower fair condition £70.

BRNO 223 almost new condution. Screw cut with moderator, bipod, scope rings, reloading gear £400. cost over £700 2 years ago only fired 50 rounds.

BRNO .22 rf moderator and bipod, scope rings £70.

must collect from oxford or could take to norfolk in a couple of weeks.

  4. They are reported to be good, but difficult to clean. My local shop will get and fit one for people who insist. but normaly recomend a conventional can and baffels type. (this is what I use)

The reflex will shorten the overal gun length, but I dont find the extra length of the can a problem.

most shops use good smiths, and it can somtimes work out cheaper.

  5. I have had a fox come up behind me about 10 feet away, makes you jump when you are not expecting it. I was so shoked that it ran off into the hedge before I got my witts back.

I was amazed how loud a rabbit squeel is. When mr fox ate my pet rabbit the squeel woke me up at the other side of the house.

  6. What type do you want?

    I asume 12g.

Cartridges fall in to 2 main types compression formed and parallel tube.

parallel tube are the majority of cartridges, these are further divided into plastic and paper and high or low base wad.

Most cart.s are parallel tube low plastic base wad. This is probably the case with the remmington's but do check.

If they are, just select somthing similar of the ground at your local clay shoot.

Dont be put off by the american recipies that list all types of cases they are to protect the uninformed.

look down the open end of a case if you see a white plastic base that the same hight or less than the hight of the standard brass, then you have a PT low plastic base wad. You just need to get the hight right.

If you want a first class case to load try Blue Diamond (parrallel tube 70mm low plastic recoil absorbing basewad)

Just avoid the winchester compresion formed ones as they can create large pressures.
