  9. I have a Tikka T3 Varmint Synthetic Stock for sale. This is brand new, never used!. It was taken off the rifle as soon as got it home from the shop, and therefore is in mint condition. Comes complete with studs and swivels. £110 including postage.
  10. Ifor Williams P6e for sale or swap/part exchange, complete with mesh sides and ramp. Original reg plate still attached. Good all round condition, some rust on wheels but nothing that a clean and paint won't put right. Good solid floor with no holes, jockey wheel, spare wheel. 6ft x 4ft. 750kg gross. All electrics working apart from one of the front lights, which was broken at the weekend. I've sent for a replacement which should be here this week. Used as private gardening and quad trailer, so nothing heavy. Looking for around £500. Possible swap or part exchange for something smaller, maybe 5ft x 3.5ft? To be used as a camping trailer. Trailer is currently in Northampton.
  11. The problem is mostly caused by the STUPID IDIOTS (Usually tourists) that feed them. We were visiting family in Dartmouth on Sunday, walking through the park we spied some of the STUPID IDIOTS happily throwing bread for the gulls........immediately behind them was a sign that clearly said "DO NOT FEED THE SEAGULLS". Politely pointing out the error of their ways fell on deaf ears. You just can't legislate for stupidity.
  12. She isn't eating grass at all is she? One of my bitches will regularly eat grass on her morning walk and quickly throw it back up in the form of bile mixed with grass. It helps to settle their stomachs.
  13. It would be a good idea to familiarize yourself with The Deer Act, that will give you all the information that you need regarding the legalities of shooting deer. Get it right first time, rather than taking advice from a few on here that have not much more idea than yourself. Well done for asking before pulling the trigger though.
  14. I have a couple spare tubs of Varget if you're stuck?
  15. I have the 6-24 x 50 here on Dartmoor, you're welcome to come and have a look if it's not too far for you.
  16. In all fairness to the big guy with 9 kids, only 2 are his, the other 7 came with his Mrs. He did say that he had worked, and paid tax & NI for 23 years before losing his job when the steelworks closed. Since then he has tried to find work but failed. Compare his situation and attitude with the 21 year old couple on £1600 a month for sitting on there ***** and playing XBox.....I actually feel sorry for the guy with 9 kids.
  17. This thread has certainly brightened up a crappy day!
  18. I used to live just behind Brindons shop, I supplied him with rabbits in the good old days. Still call in every time I'm in Holmfirth visiting the folks. Try his Hunters Pie if you ever get the chance.....superb!!
  19. That's cheap! Just got our bill for the house we just moved into....£1,223 per year!!!! That's for me and the Mrs in a 3 bed terrace!!!! Called South West Water and asked for a meter to be installed. No problem with that but it will take 3 months, during which time we have to pay at their rate. So that's £366.90 for 3 months!!!!!!
  20. Do we have any forum members that are experienced in .22LR target shooting? I'm thinking of 'having a go' and would appreciate any general advice regarding firearms/ammunition/other kit/clubs etc.
