  1. Texecom are decent kit, but I haven't had any dealings with remote access. I'm not too struck on the Honeywell gear to be honest but that's just my preference. Insurance company will probably need to see that it has been serviced regularly.
  2. Have Scotland ever won the rugby World Cup? Just asking like.
  3. Could I have this please Denis.
  4. Www.breakingnews.ie/tech/did-you-get-ios-9-turn-off-this-feature-or-itll-cost-you-698055.html
  5. £90 for half or £170 for a full pig. That's from a local pig rearer not a wholesaler.
  6. Never had any problems with vacuum ones to be honest.
  7. Time lag switches are the best in my opinion.
  8. As said above, it goes on ebay or back to the shop. The only place for Pirs switching lights is outside lights and public toilets,
  9. Run a 3 core & earth https://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/CA1dot5Gslash3slash1.html from the existing switch to where you would like your new switch. Buy 2 x 1 gang 2 way switches https://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/MKK4871.html. At the new switch put the black core in Com, the brown core in L1 and the blue core in L2 (wrap some brown tape around each core). At the existing switch put the black core from the 3 core & earth in Com, the brown from the 3 core & earth and the brown from the twin & earth in L1 and the grey from the 3 core & earth and the blue from the twin and earth in L2 (put brown tape around each of these cores). This will allow you to switch the light from both switches.
  10. £8.44 on Amazon if you missed out. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B00MXZWJIQ/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new
  11. Forget About Part P, changing like for like does not come under it. What you have to ask yourself is, if you changed the light fittings yourself and you ended up in court for some reason, could you provide proof to the court that you left the light fittings in a safe state. I'm guessing that you do not have the required test equipment to ensure you did so could not provide that proof. I know it sounds a bit over the top for just changing light fittings but I'm afraid it's the way of the world now and that's what it would come down to if the worst happened.
  12. It may do, but without being there it is hard to say. It may come from a light fitting or even off the socket circuit. Do you have any fused spurs nearby that may have a blown fuse in? Are you sure there is no live at the switch?
  13. What did you use to test if there was power at the light switch, was it a neon screwdriver or a proper voltage tester? If you are definitely sure there is no live at the switch, then you need to trace back the incoming cables and see where they should be picking a live up from. I would just check the other switch first to make sure a live wire hasn't come out of the terminal.
  14. Yes he's still got it, shame the audience hasn't. That was nearly as good as the original. I prefer "still of the night" though.
  15. Ok, thanks for that. I do use the odd game and pigeon cartridge but probably not enough to justify reloading.
  16. Is there a saving to be made reloading 12 bore 28g 7.5s or would I be better just buying them from the clay ground/local shop? I was thinking of buying a Lee Loadall 2.
  17. I'm after some coarse fishing tackle so I can take my 11 year old lad with me, would prefer full set up but open to offers what you have. I may be willing to swap a HW77 for the right set up.

That must be one hell of a cable drum. 😃

  20. I cut every tendon in my wrist when a pane of glass fell out of a window onto it. It's the strangest feeling when you try to move your fingers but can't.
  21. I see it every time it takes off when I'm at home, I always hear it first though.
  22. Now that makes some sense, the black and blue in the connector are neutrals, the two reds are taking a permanent live to the fan and the yellow is the switched live. It should really have a triple pole switch on there though unless there is a separate one near the fan.
  23. I'm on my phone so I can't see the pics too well, but looking at it I think you need a 1 gang 2 way switch, what you have there is a 1 gang 1 way switch. Get a 1 gang 2 way switch and put the red from the twin and earth into common on the switch put the red from the 3 core and earth in L1 in the switch and the yellow in L2 these are the strappers (if it is a 2 way switch). I have had a drink so I am not liable for this advice and you do this at your own risk.
