    Why wouldn't they have a sensitive scale on the factory line with fine enough tolerances to reject anything deviating from norm? Or, as has been said previously, has the weight differential been made up with a heavier shot charge? Weird one indeed. Just as well you never blew up your new Purdey haha.

    I know a guy with a wheel refurbishment firm, so as you would guess he is fitting more tires than the average bear. He swears that the new Pirelli Scorpion AT's are the absolute best thing since sliced bread. Beating BFG's.

    Am I correct in saying its the choke thread that's damaged rather than the gun thread? If so, yes it can be restored with a thread file and a little patience.     100% agree that the Franchi isn't that vastly different to warrant the extra £1k. Some will go on better components... some will go on marketing for suckers like me.

    I like the look of the new Ineos Grenadier. All the best bits of a G Wagon and Defender, but well engineered for a change. Price is similar to a Hilux too.

    There would be little to no way the police could prove it was you who had made the shot. Secondly, it wasn't an intentional act. I would suggest this is exactly what the insurance was meant to cover.

    They are similar. However, "spot the difference" shows it has a different stock, different action - the SBE is easier cleaned as its a 2 part construction, different bolt handle and different bolt release. To name a few. Plus why buy the cheaper one when you can get the original...

    I bought my old man a jacket. Awesome quality for the relatively competitive price. Im a die hard Harkila fan, but im now thinking ShooterKing is a viable option.

    They are on to a Version 2 now - so be careful to get them if you do. I have tried them and didn't like them compared to ViperFlex.
