  1. I bought an electric one about 5 years ago, it was the cheapest one I could get and bought is as I had a pile of logs to cut but didnt think I would use it much. Last year I cut through about 5 tons of oak and about 2 tons of pine and it wont die. I really want it to die so that I can get myself a petrol one.
  2. Looking great, I am wanting to make a new stock for an air rifle I picked up, so on the look out for a nice piece of wood. I am busy stripping the air rifle down at the moment, made myself a spring compressor over the weekend. Now just need some time to start the project properly.
  3. I could do with a load of logs like that, my source for logs has stopped, so looking for a new one, or anyone that needs some trees removed from their woods.
  4. haha thants great, My 3 year old walks around town pretending to shoot all the pigoens.
  5. I had advice on writing mine from a professional when I was being made redundant. Happy to send you mine as an example if you pm me your email address. What line of business is it for.
  6. I hope that is cream soda from South Africa, the proper green stuff.
  7. Planning to cook a meal, not sure what yet (anyone local, Devon, have any venison). But its her birthday next week so have to plan next week aswell. Birthday present sorted, that was the new puppy.
  8. I was surprised that smoking isn’t banned completely when driving. I can't believe that driving along you can rummage for your cigarettes, take one out of the box, find your lighter, light up, and drive along with something burning in your hand, and still concentrate on the road. We not allowed to talk on mobiles etc because of the lack of concentration, but you can smoke in while driving? To me that doesn’t make sense.
  9. He was a mistake, they people breed dogs and the had a miniutre daxie on heat and their westie got to her before they could get her to the stud dog. Springer is putting him in his place, but he is really a cheekly little thing. He discovered a cats is interisting but that paw can be dangerous. Has a good noise on him, and loves his food. Had to change the feed, he came with a 'puppy pack' of eukanuba. Gave him the runs, so we have put him onto Burns. Seems to be much better and sorted that out.
  10. Will try and get another photo over the weekend, hopefully he will keep still long enough.
  11. Thats the next things for me to try is the double edge razor, while the homemade soap my wife makes. She uses a type of clay in the soap, makes for brilliant shaving.
  12. So we got a new puppy. He is a Westie cross dachshund. Dad was the Westie, Mom was the Dachshund. His name is George. Wife and kids love him to bits, so everyone is very happy. Well our Springer (age 8) is still warming up to him.
  13. It is the soap, I am using a razor blade at the moment that needs replacing but I use soap that my wife has made. The best stuff ever, will never go back to the bought stuff again
  14. I agree with the issue on foreign aid, I can’t believe this country gives away so much money but seems to struggle to help their own people. But, I do think the made gives it way, Somerset levels, and to think you could live there without flooding does seem a little short sighted. I agree that the rivers need to be maintained,, but can't believe that this would have solved the problem when you look at the amount of water out there. I do feel sorry for those people though, it must be dreadful to watch the news and see the weather and more rain due every day. On the building on flood plains, it is amazing if you were an individual and approached the council to build on a flood plain, how quickly do you think you would be turned away. But if you are a developer, well then this seems to be a different storey. I wonder why? I guess in the future we going to see a lot more like this.
  15. We are looking for a new dog. We are considering a cocker at the moment, but would be looking at a working one, as we want a small one. I have been looking online (Preloved and pets4homes). But I was wondering where is it other people look when looking for a new dog.
