Will be having a read of that myself later. Though donning the white lab coat had my mutt sitting very well about 5 yards away so the thermometer doesn’t get ‘inserted’

That's all very useful information and gives other avenues to explore. Many thanks all, and agriv8, no she does do any of the things you asked about.
I think trying vets drugs for a corse loxiocom metacalm see if they work before worries about affect’s of long term use ! Blood and urine test could be taken for liver and kidney function but my gut says you would want results before starting corse of drugs to get base line figure.
ps not a vet or medical ( a part from lapsed first aider 😂😂)
hope you get you working pal back up to speed and fitness asap

There is a thread on here about me asking the same question- I got a second hand 6mm and ratting on my very small permissions is down to the odd one or two.
my plan is upgrade to a better one if I can warrant it afford it
where you based there maybe someone on here with one close by that you can borrow & try.
For me 6mm is fine as you can see from photosAgriv8

Don’t know about dogs but my arthritis is bad between sitting and first few steps . Cortisone injection fixes it. Does she chew the foot or joint usually indicating it’s troubling her ? Does she wine wimped in pain when she goes down with it ?
If it is muscular an anti inflation eg ibuprofen might be worth a try - again long time use not good - but if it improves her you may be looking at muscle damage rather than arthritis being cause.
finally a 5 year old working dog - might be worth looking at a vet 2nd opinion who specifically looks at joints and muscles the same way the humans head for Phisio.

A vacuum is often referred to as a hoover - it’s not correct as most are made by dyson these days. !?!
as the makers ( or should that be sales boffins) can’t agree the swan neck is likley to be referred to as pow
as for the gun pow or swan neck or 1/2 pistol- it’s still out of my price range ! But a real beauty!

Quick update, she's 90% done and looking like new again, hopefully she will be on the road and attending local shows by the end of this month. I would like to take some credit for the rebuild but I cannot, life changed and I ended up in a new role at work which meant spending 75% of the year in Europe away from the family and bike. I found a local ducati company in Coventry who have done the restoration rebuild.. I'm sure the bikers will love these pics
I was just thinking how tidy you garage wax and then read the words.
nice bike likely to be in better Nick than when it was built !

I do like to see a stick being used but just like good art it’s lovely to appreciate a craftsman’s work/art
anyway we’ll done HRH Turning this back to opening post it seems a lot of spotted the queens nod to her outdoor roots.

Good point old boggy almost sure it’s tapped one or two corgi a bums in the past .
She still needs to bring the muts behind her in the picture under control!

Good for her Majesty I say.

Been past trumps place & no thanks - the only way to do a decent walk is shouting at a spaniel in the woods and trying to get them blasted pheasant going forwards !
don’t do golf as I haven’t got the hand eye coordination- this may or may not explain my lack of shooting prowess!
