  5. as above in superb condition. 43 mildot ir ret. elevation and windage turrets. 0.5cm clicks. stunning optics. in low light.day. or under lamp. £1350
  6. got a annie 1515 1516. with scope. mod and ammo. £220 in 22 wmr bolt action. shoots spot on. hardly used
  7. ase cqb or compact superb. the s5 isnt as good but as its all stainless i prefer it now over the other to i had
  8. the northstar mod will be fine. saves buying another mod. get the ppc cut the same thread as the 223 and swap between them. if you did want to buy a different mod for it though i would buy a ase cqb for it.the cqb is for 22cf but the exit hole is 7.2mm so can be used on 6 mm no problem. they are very good indeed
  9. my mate was selling his he never shoots it anymore . its a Anschutz 1515 1516 22mag rimfire. good condition comes with 50 rounds of 30 grain hornady ballistic tip ammo .moderator, scope, sling.
  10. the 17 is a superb little calibre. i would love another one. the fireball i had was very accurate. it jsut didnt feed from the mag. my own fault really as i had it built on a tikka m595 action. abit to big of a action really for this little case. would be better off with a hw action. annie, or sako.a1. they feed the round superb.
  11. never been a fan of them myself. i think for the money they could at least put a better stock on them,. i would get the stock sorted 1st and fo rmost leadwasp. get it strengthened to stop any front end flex.
  12. i use reloading solutions or trent firearms. for cleaning bits. proshot. dewey etc are good products
  13. if you reload look at 6.5x47 also.
  14. mine shoots the 117 grain sako game heads superbly in factory ammo. i do reload but have a number of these to use as i got them as part of a deal with the rifle. also 100 grain nostler bt hunting bullets. which i will reload with elcho 17 powder. i have a ase s5 moderator on mine. does a superb job. as for the deer shooting i cant comment on that with the rifle. as ive had a break from shooting and only just getting back into it. friend of mine has same rifle. shot munty roe and fallow. no problem with it. also know a lad who shoots same calibre down in Devon. uses 75 vmax for foxes and 117 grain for all deer. and he has shot some very big reds with it. no problem at all. imo it is a superb all round calibre
  15. i know where there is a tikka m595 with a pacnor barrel sat in a lads cabinet. he has only fired about 400 rounds down it. deadly accurate with 25 vmax. he has 223 and 243 tikka's also and there both scoped so the 17 rem is sat there doing nothing. i would love it myself. im a massive fan with the 17 calibre. when i had a fireball and a 17 rem. there was no better then sititng on the bales on the farm picking off. rabbits. pigeons and crows. and foxes in the evening. low recoil and seeing the hits where superb. i just havent got the dosh to have a number of rifles anymore.and the fact im not really doing much shooting. it would be a waste of a top rifle sat in the cabinet.
  16. great calibre. alot wont shoot the 25 vmax as well with the standard twist. most go for a 1 in 9 twist if you go the rebarrel route
  17. as above nylon purse nets. belong to my dad who sadly past away this year.there in very good condition. all have pegs. 3 and 4 foot lengths. collection from worcester. £100. bargain less then a £1 a net !
  18. well i think it was your rifle. i know many people and my rpa 22/250 has shot many 250 + yard crows and rabbits out to 330 yards
  19. 25 vmax are better then 20 vmax. ive seen over 4100 in the 17 fireball with 20 vmax. the rem is much quicker
