  1. I use Bluemail, never had any issues.
  2. Thanks for that, mine has been a PITA lately, doing all sorts of odd things. Booked in on Friday.
  3. There is a pair just north of Milton Keynes, see them all the time. Noisy ******* when they are flying!
  4. If a camera is installed on an existing bit of roadside furniture and looks permanent, the chances are it an ANPR camera. They can be operated by 2 different organisations, the local council and the police. Sometimes the council and police work together and share the data. They are used by the council to monitor traffic flow and by the police to monitor criminal activity. They are NOT type approved for speed detection like a standard speed camera but there are some that are now approved for bus lane/yellow box prosecutions. I have installed many ANPR cameras and it is very satisfying when I hear that a camera I installed has been integral in tracking an abducted child or murderer. They are clever bits of kit and along with other technologies the info that the police can get is incredible. There are other different traffic monitoring equipment around that the public dont know about, just look at the grey boxes on the side of the road and strapped to lamp posts as you drive around, most of them I have installed at one time or another.

My son volunteers with a local litter picking group, The Aylesbury Wombles. They find hundreds of the large canisters monthly (401 last October) , along with disposable vapes, they are becoming a real problem.
  6. Have a look at https://www.oddsmonkey.com it's a matched betting thing, supposedly you can bet with no risk? I cant get my head around it so haven't tried it. The odds Monkey Facebook page is interesting as well.
  7. We had a proper go to with Acorn, when the salesman came round he phoned (or pretended to) his office to see if they had a second hand lift available as my parents stairs were dead straight and as standard as you could get, none in stock. Not to worry, when we didnt need it anymore, Acorn would buy it back at a really good price. 6 months later when both my parents had died, we phoned Acorn to be told they dont buy back stairlifts and never had done. As you can imagine I was not best pleased, and they were not moving. A concerted social media campaign soon changed their minds and they changed our sale agreement into a rental agreement, they came and collected the lift and gave us half our money back. They pray on people at their most vulnerable but I was not going to let them get away with it.
  8. I have one, your mate is correct they are pretty poor, clog up all the time.
  9. Just got back from a week in Norfolk, had fish and chips from Kens in Wroxham it was bloody horrible. Tried, on recommendation from a local, The Kingfisher in Walcott. What a difference, best I have had in years. Generally the food in the Horning/Wroxham area was pretty dire.
  10. If you think it is sinus problems, have look on YouTube for sinus draining exercises. You may have to try a few but when you get the right one they can really help.
  11. If it's a long term investment, I would say a stocks and shares ISA and research consistently well performing funds. I have several funds in a SIPP, my best performing one is 'Fundsmith Equity' I bought in 4 1/2 years ago and it is up 102%, just wish I had £100k in it instead of £10k!
  12. Have a look at these guys, flat-pack containers. I have 2 of these, easy to build, great quality and very secure. Plus easy to move and second hand prices are nearly as much as new ones. https://expandastore.co.uk
  13. Amazon Japan is very good, used them a lot for specialised fishing gear.
  14. A static is a money pit, you will lose all ways round. If you decide to buy one go in with your eyes wide open. Saying that, we have one on a fantastic site only 30 minutes away so we can go whenever we want and as soon as we drive through the gates we feel like we are on holiday. Our family love it and visit often and we have made great friends. We have had it 3 seasons so far and had not one moment of regret. You do hear some horror stories, especially from people on the big sites like Haven and Parkdean so do your research.
