  4. hi all. Getting excited for the 1st so i can get out and start hitting some of these greylags. Been seeing them all summer, getting a bit over run with them now, which isnt a bad thing as i quite like going shooting them and eating them! trouble is i dont have an awful amount of luck. Normally i ambush them with a mate but wanting this year to go out early morning and evenings to hopefully decoy them in. What decoys work best? ive seen the foamies, are they up to much? what call works best too? thanks in advance
  5. Alright folks, relatively new to this gamw having just recently got my shotgun license. Took a greylag down last week but I need to change my strategy so I can shoot alone. normally we would find a flock of birds, then take a position and have someone come behind the geese and hopefully put them in our direction, it works but I need to be able to go alone. Looking for information on good calls and decoys, I think I know where they roost at nights so I can hopefully sit and wait or I can set up early in the morning and hopefully call them in. Just trial and error really. Any help is much appreciated
  6. Just recently got my shotgun license for wildfowling/rabbits and crows. Have a growing goose (greylag mostly) population so going to try put a dent in it! Any tips on decoys and callers would be most helpful. Just got the one gun, it's a side by side Poldi electro.
