My F.A.O told my to be as discreet as possible leaving my house to my car, with my shotgun. He advised me to break it down and put it in a black bin bag, leaving the house, so no one could see a gun slip! Could quite possibly be the postcode I live in. But I wouldn't want to walk a couple of miles with my gun slip on view, that anybody could see. Obviously different if you live out in the sticks

Sorry for the late reply. Yes it was open till 8. That was the last time till late spring. It is a good shoot, very picturesque. But £17.50 for 50 Clay's, and I bet 8 didn't fire but I still got charged. Il stick to my local shoot, for 12 a round.

Does it stay open late on a Thursday evening? It say while 8 on google but 5 on their website? I was thinking of going tomorrow after work but it's a 45 minute drive. Just need to know if anyone has shot on a evening. Thanks josh

Just thought it would be a good idea to have another page for people to trade hunting/shooting related things or anything, for shooting related things. Just makes sense if you want to part with something you no longer need, for other hunting bits. Saves time and effort selling things, to by something else when you can just trade.

Hi all, sent off for my shotgun licence a couple of weeks ago. Got my cabinet, but what's the rules about fixing? I know it needs to be bolted to a wall, but can it be bolted above the skirting board or should the base be flush to the floor? Do I have to cut some skirting board away? Thanks

Good luck mate, I joined this page a few year ago, hoping some land would be given to me, with one post. However, most ferret men, air rifle or fac, would rather die than let somebody help out. Some people have more land than they can work, but would never admit defeat. Best way is to join a local shoot, beating or picking up, then make yourself known.
