  1. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-34248179 Article on BBC news about it. On BBC Radio 1 news, they stated that people were "at severe risk of gun massacres, due to slack checks by licencing agencies". Think BASC should be on this.
  2. Thanks clayman. Might have to give this a go when I get a chance
  3. Thanks very much. Yes single trigger and spotted the screws yesterday. I guessed that was what they add for
  4. Thanks CaptainBeaky, yes 30inch was a rough measurement, and when cleaning it earlier the chokes felt extremely tight. Only bought it to do some pigeon shooting with, as too scared of wacking my mk60 on a tree. Seems in good condition for a pre 1987 gun. When I collected it, the previous owner hadn't cleaned it. So gave it some tlc and came up like new
  5. Hi Guys and Girls, Bought a Baikal shotgun today to do some rough shooting with..... but can't for the life of me get any info on it. I was wondering what the year of manufacture was/how to tell what the fixed chokes are? The Serial number is C01359 (on the foreend it state C01359K), by the trigger guard it has IJ 2764C It came with two sets of barrels, 26 inch and I believe the others are 30inch. Just wondering if anyone can give me some info on it? Looks in good condition, although with the shorter barrells on, the lever sits very central (further across with the longer barrells on it). Any advice is as always, greatly appreciated. Thanks Trav
  6. +1 beating is definitely the way to go. I found a local shoot and volunteered my services. Learnt so much from doing it.
  7. I got my other half a musto recoil pad that she wears over her jacket. Just slips onto the shoulder. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B005YCZTFU?vs=1 I then used 21gr loads so the recoil is next to nothing.
  8. Chris, maybe worth noting that some clay shoots don't like semi-auto's although i am yet to come across one. Also if you decide to do some game days, then ideally you want a o/u or s/s. I have a miroku mk60 which I use for clays, game and pigeons. Absolutely love it, and as much as I would like a semi auto for the pigeons, I would rather spend a bit more on a decent all-rounder than have 2 cheaper seperate guns. Hope that makes sense
  9. You can try uksales@browning-int.com Or Darren.lincoln@browning-int.com They might be able to help identify it
  10. Haha it seems a brilliant bit of kit, if I can get it working. Think the idea is you can have a wireless thermostat next to the bed and just flick the shower on in the morning. When I say it's a new house.....its new to me, and after reading through various brochures and instruction manuals. I still can't get the downstairs wireless controller to connect with the transceiver in the loft
  11. Moved into a new house which has one, but I can't get it to work. In the shower is a circular controller, when I press the power button, the bottom 1/3 of the circular led light up red, but then goes out straight away. Nothing else happens. In the loft is a transceiver that has a green flashing led and button on it. Not really sure how to connect the two of them up.....going to try replacing rhe batteries tonight, but failing that has anyone got any advice to get it working? Any help is greatly appreciated
  12. +1 my parents have solar panels in there field. The guys who fitted them said you could drive a golf ball into them and it would be fine. Wouldn't try it, but they are very strong
  13. Don't Napier do a takedown slip? This would be useful on a motorbike, less chance of damaging your shotgun, as it's made for purpose. I think its in a rucksack style....but not 100% sure
  14. If so spotted you guys whilst out walking today? Apologies for disturbing your shooting, was out on a walk with the out laws. How did you get on?
  15. I know it's a bit late now. But I am moving house soon, so been researching this.....I am told you don't have to send your licence off. As there is no legal requirement to do so.
