  1. Recent upgrade to Daystate Mk4 IST. Clinically Accurate😊 Quite simple Daystate are the the Rolls Royce of air rifles. Anything else is Bently to Tribant. Don't get me wrong a Mercedes S Class is a top end motor but it ain't a DayState.
  2. JSB Exacts! Hmm that through a spanner in the works and maybe worth a try. I will let you know my results 😊
  3. Ok I was amazed at the accuracy when using AA field Diablo .177 but tried some H&N field trophies today. The result was staggering and groupings were even better. At 50yards indoor 14mm grouping with 20 shots. Got to be honest and say that is outstanding. I would love to hear if there are any better pellets for this surgicaly precicse rifle?
  4. I recently posted that I traded my Daystate MK3 and my Hatsan AT 44-10 for a Daystate MK4 IST Well now its time for an honest review. I know that Daystate rifles aren't everyones cup of tea but then again it would be a boring world if we all drove the same car for example. However the Daystate MK4 IST is without doubt a remarkable piece of engerering and also has clinical accuracy. Some may say that this rifle is boring due to its accuracy, some may say that this rifle is over engineered. However the same things were and have been said about Rolls Royce. Lets be honest a Rolls Royce will always give you the best in excellence. But some prefer a Bentley instead. In short I am well happy with this rifle as it is both beautiful in looks and has the most amazing accuracy. I would recommend this rifle to anyone (warning: it always hits what you aim at which can cause bordem) I give this rifle 10 / 10
  5. Wife ain't happy about it though lol
  6. Ive just traded in my Daystate MP3 .177 and Hastsan At44 10 .22 and put some money towards the Daystate MK4 IST. .177 So have I made a good choice? Initial results would say so but it would be nice to hear some feedback
  7. Don't cut down all the trees or the people selling safety harness gear will go out of business. Health and safety for gods sake. How dare a young lad climb a tree without the proper safety equipment. Makes me wonder how I survived as a young boy. (Not meeting jimmy saville helps)
  8. Tally ho old boy, can you see what the common people are doing these days? They are bloody shooting like us the Great British Aristocracy. This simply will not do old bean and we need to put a stop to their fun or they will think that they have gone up a class or something. The Classes are in peril so have a word with old Bertie in the house if lords and see if we can put a stop to this Lower class nonsense!
  9. There is also a FB community for England and Wales. This should be a joint effort for the whole Great Britain to say a big FAT NO. Currently in Essex the waiting time for a FAC is a minimum of 6months to 10 months. So how on earth do they really think this could be implemented? All this will do is give the authorities a very rough idea of how many Airguns are out there. (And I do mean rough idea) As with all governments and politicians there are lies, big lies and Statistics.
  10. I would assume that all the gangsters up and down the country would be honest enough to get a licence for their sawn offs, 9mm pistols and AK47's. (Never gonna happen) Maybe the promotion of more clubs and stronger sentencing would be a better way forward.
  11. Guns going underground is probably the most worrying thing. I believe it would impact memberships on clubs to a point where some would close. As for not being able to by pellets unless licence is shown, well that does not stop people buying from the internet. Fakes and the black market would boom. Maybe they should licence baseball bats as well.
  12. Air Gun Licensing (Scotland) was passed in May. Although the BASC is working to get the legislation scrapped, rumours are emerging that this could be extended to the whole of the UK. Apart from the costs in budgets and the burden of time on police this I feel would only cause an increase in Airgun crime at a time where it has fallen by 75%. I personally fully support the scrapping of this.
  13. Ok it seems like it's a crazy idea then! But there is some legs in the 240v version. Also there is a market for divers scuba bottles not just PCP rifles. They said we couldn't fly but the Wright brothers proved them wrong. The we broke the sound barrier. Then we went to space. The world never accomplished anything saying we can't. It took mad ideas and pioneers to prove it could be done.
  14. Ok so physics possibly rules out a 12v battery but I have a compressor the inflates my tyres which plugs into the cigar lighter in the car. 30 years ago these didn't exists now there £20 out of Halfords. So I still think there is a chance it could work.
