Good reels are them Korum ones thats a good deal for 3 at 80 quid. Personally I have found Diawa to be a far better reel than any shimano reel I have owned.

If you have a decathlon near by they might have some I seen some in the Glasgow store that were long enough for a semi and they were only £12. Seemed of a dcent quality on inspection.

The affinity has been good for me so far bought in the summer very shootable its. I adjusted the stock with the supplied shims it was easy peasy.

Good choice they are as rugged a jacket as you'll get and very waterproof. Compared to other jackets I have had in past the keepers is a very warm jacket also, needed up here! I do have a seeland softshell right enough I use it more for fishing its about 6 years old and it aint to bad takes a fair bit of rain for it to soak through.

Many years ago there was sightings of hoopoes on west coast of Scotland (Irvine). Never seen any in the UK myself, there was loads of them a couple of years back around the O Pinhal clay ground in the algarve, lovely birds with their mohicans lol

Thanks for the replies guys. Update: out again with member from here used a box of rios 30gm 6s every cart fired perfect and was actually shooting well too!! Changed to the gamebores popped 3 in the gun, first bird bang, second bird click (primer was struck). Emptied the gun and put the rios in shot the rest of the day no issues. I def think it is the carts.

Not sure whats causing your issue but I thought it might be worth mentioning I have another thread where I had been having bother with gamebore clear pigeons with the affinity. Was out again with it and used about a box of rio game 30gm 6s no probs at all, the minute I switched to the gamebores second cart the primer was struck but no fire!! I think my issues is def the gamebores they are in 32gm 6's. Have you tried different carts just to see if the issues remain? Personally dont like that idea with the boresnake where the barrell is not removed but cant see why that would cause the issues esp the bolt not locking back on empty.
