Guys I have a franchi affinity and at first fired mostly fired lyalvale pigeon power 30gm - 6 and gambore super game hi bird 32gm - 6s through it prob about 200ish of those with the lyalvale first then the gamebores with no issues. I was out last week and used a new batch of carts gamebore clear pigeon 32gm - 6 I had a few misfires so unloaded all carts re loaded and continued shooting prob had this happen 3 or 4 times on a short session. I never gave it alot more thought as was busy Sunday and rest of week with work. Yesterday I met my friend (a user on this forum) we had bought some rio 30gm - 6s the way it worked out (333 each between 3 people) I had an open box as well as the carts I had brought with me. I decided to use the rios first so fired approx 20 carts with the affinity with no issues then I switched to my bag which had the clear pigeon 32gm - 6s in it now this is when I started getting misfires again bird goes by come in from behind follow through pull trigger click!!SWEAR!! Bird gone. So the chap I was with said unload the carts and I'll try them on my O&U. One observation was that the misfired cart had the primer struck and dented so the firing pin had hit it but nothing happened. When tried in the O&U it did not fire but the others that had not been struck did. I switched back to the rios - again no issues. This has left me wondering if I just have a bad batch of gamebores I don't not think it is the gun. I will take them out again and do a bit of observation between them and the rios but wondered if anyone on the site has had similar issues?

Agree with this as they all tend to be busy folks. If you have been watching fields def call by when the birds are hammering it saying you have seen this and would like to offer some help. If you can't get them in person try and get a number.

Thanks can anyone recommend a light setup that wont be too expensive. I was just going to buy a fig 8 screw mount off ebay and stick my cree T6 on it if I can find compatible tail switch as it takes 3 clicks to get to full beam its only got a white pill in though. Scope mounted light best? Re legality. There seems to be plenty of youtube vids of guys beaming lights on perched ferals and shooting not saying that makes it legal right enough.

Looking for some advice need to do some pigeon / crow work in a barn its a newish type one and looks like quite a high topped one. Will be using a 1.77 springer.

Leather stock pad / extender (3 inserts). Brand - Tourbon. New and unused. £10 posted. It fitted a gunmark kestrel I had nicely but I sold it on and have this left.

Also got some from Aldi. Its much nicer than the jack pyke camo tape which I have a couple of rolls of could you post a pic of the barrels done with the tape? Did you run one edge along one side of rib then press it all down then repeat from the other side of the rib creating an overlap?

Anyone seen the new website yet? These guys should really get some proper advice on website usability its a bit of a scroll fest!!! Sigh. PS Gets worse when you start to look around and search the ads they should really have a mandatory location! Lots going into ads to find they have no location etc. I have seen this happen on gun sales sites where the browse-ability and search-ability of the site goes right downhill after their fantastic re-vamps

Enjoy I turned up at one of my fields yesterday which had been cut just under a week before. Me and another member from here shot it last sat and had approx 40 birds I had been for a look a couple of days ago also and there were plenty of birds about. Turned the bend on the road to find the field had been ploughed

Has anyone had any success feeding small drains / waterways for mallard etc its a few feet wide plus or minus a foot at parts. Have often seen small numbers of wild duck on the specific area and wondered if it would be worth buying some feed and scattering in places.
