  1. I just got a nice setup from http://shootingtorches.com UF-T20 full kit with mount/Panasonic battery/pressure sw and charger for £60 and it's not much different to the nm800 as the guy compares it in one of his YouTube vids. He did have some of the nm800 in stock for about £100 but advised me to try the T20 as I was in a budget Which I thought was pretty good of him as he could have had another £40 out of me but I'm really happy now with the set although I did end up buying another kit and a green led insert for the T20
  2. Hi telf. Received the UF-T20 from shootingtorches I must say I am very impressed it really seems like a quality torch and the beam is great he said it would do about 200+ but it was picking up eyes about 300m+ further than my air rifle is capable unfortunately! the quick release mount was of good quality too and came in a nice box with pressure sw so I've ordered another for a present for my dad. I was out for 3 hours with one battery supplied and it was still on full brightness when I got back,I think I will try the green led insert as they look pretty good on his YouTube video. Thanks for your help with this one. T.A
  3. Hi telf I will do. Hopefully it will be here tomorrow and I can test it out. Thanks for all your help.
  4. Hi telf Thankyou very much for the info. The guy from shootingtorches came back and said if its not what i need I can simply return it so I can't really go wrong. Cheers for all your help
  5. No he compared it to a nightmaster nm800 in a YouTube vid and the beam was quite a bit bigger as it was a T6 led for the UF-T20 although you can get a smaller q5 led replacement and just screw them in (I asked the same question as I thought it looked like the same torch) and he said he did have a rechargeable with a smaller beam than the nightmaster but the distance was about 400m and the nightmaster was supposed to be 800m
  6. Should have been this vid I think. http://youtu.be/NbiuqTTzErc
  7. Hi I have changed quite a few different LEDs but the ones in the lensers are a bit different with the housing surrounding them and the cost if the lenser LEDs are expensive. Check out this video on YouTube and send the guy a message he might help you out as I got some upgraded LEDs from him. http://youtu.be/47Lhfm-GcW4
  8. Thanks for the info, is that £45 for the torch with the ir insert? The link above you get the full setup with batteries/pressure switch ect. I will drop them an email. Thanks again for the reply.

  10. Hi i agree the HW is one of the best spring air rifles to start with very reliable and accurate, there is some good used models available at manchester air rifles on rochdale rd(i think thats the address) and if you contact the guy at http;//shootingtorches.com and tell him your situation and budget he is a great guy and will help you out and may even give you a freebie with other accessories. prob best to find a local club and join before you commit to a purchase as i guarantee you will learn something within 10mins good luck with the shooting

  12. i agree the T20 is a great torch for the price i picked up this full setup with quick release mount/panasonic battery/charger and dual mode remote pressure sw for £64 and got a spare red led insert for an extra £14 ive had a lot of torches in my time and this has got to be the best value.Link for the site is http://thetorchshop.co/shooting-torches.html came with a 12month warranty a lot safer than buying on ebay!
  13. yes i fitted one to the screw cap of the torch, just removed the inner and re soldered it instead of the clicky tail cap. but i just upgraded to another one yesterday, the UF-T20 svery similar to the dereelight nm800 but a third of the price i paid extra for the pressure switch multi mode (latching and press on release off) and i just ordered a replacement red and ir screw in led insert.my mate bought one last week and for £37 its got an amazing beam. i will let you know how it is with the red beam supposed to be a 200m+ beam!
